Chapter 4
Jason's POV
"Watch out!" I yelled as I ran into two girls. I quickly got up off the ground. "Hey, sorry. You guys might want to run." They turned to see what was behind us and started running. As I ducked being some trash cans they soon followed. "Is it gone?" The blonde turned and looked at me as the tall girl spoke. "Yeah, for now."
"Are you a demigod?" The small girl answered me in a hushed whisper. "You, guys too?"
"Yeah," she said. "What's your name?" "Jason."
What's your guys names?" I asked.
"I'm Annabeth." She said giving me a smile. "And that's Reyna." She exclaimed looking toward the taller girl.
Reyna had started talking about some camp we all needed to go to. She called it Camp Jupiter. I guess that's where she grew up. She also explained that she was sent out into the world to find demigods on the run and bring them back to camp to keep us safe. Except in this moment I couldn't have felt more in danger. She told Annabeth and I that we should arrive in a day or so.
I hope she is right or I think we might end up monster food.
