The Last Day

Hi, I'm Megan.. Brown hair & blue eyed girl. Popularity? Eh I don't fit in with the crowd. Today's the last day of school. So lets get started.

   *Alarm plays MAC MILLER*

"Uhgggg"  I groan Slamming my hand on the alarm clock to make it shut up.
I sit up on my bed, stretching & waking up before I actually do anything. Then it hit me...

"IT'S THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!" I squeal getting up out of bed & going into the bathroom to do my daily routines. I take a shower, step out, wrap my towel around me, dry my hair with a blow dryer, & go back into my room to look for clothes. Since it was the last day of school & its super hot out, I can't get in trouble for wearing my favorite high wasted shorts & Cute crop top right? So I get changed into my outfit & check my phone for any messages..

"Hey bestfriend, ready for the last day of skewl?!"

I smiled at the Message, Alyssa has been my bestfriend since we were in elementary school. She's a junior & I'm a sophomore. She has brown curly hair, brown eyes, wears cute nerdy glasses.. Anyways I start typing..

"Duhhh but it Sucks that you go to a different skewl now. I HAVE NOBODY TO CAUSE TROUBLE WITH hehe"

She goes to Patrick Henry high school & Me? Well I go to this Hellhole called Staunton River. I place my phone back on the dresser & proceed to put makeup on. Then my phone starts ringing..

"WHAT COULD IT POSSIBLY BE NOW?!." I said Angrily. I get mad when I'm interrupted, I answer it without even looking at the Caller ID.

"Hello?"

"Heyy bestie are you going to skewl todaayyy?

It's Matt! Matt Espinoza. He has been my guy bestfriend for years, but not as long as me & Alyssa! I smiled like a dork cause it sounded like he just woke up.

" You're asking me this on the last day of school? Are you crazy?! Of course I'm going! & why does everyone say school like that? Its so weird" I laughed.

"It's fun to say!! Skeewwllll" He said dragging out the word.

"Okay that's enough Matt" I laughed.
"You should meet me at the end of the block this morning so we can walk to school! I don't wanna ride the bus" I said trying to finish my makeup, I had Matt on speaker so I didn't have to hold my phone.

"You do know, if they catch us walking to school we will probably get suspended at the beginning of next year right?"

I let out a long groan, I forgot how complicated & dumb our school is.. They have cameras everywhere. Its like a prison.

"Well, lets just be rebels today? I want to make today adventurous & fun!" I asked kinda begging him.

"Megan when are you never rebellious?" He laughed.

"Great! So I'll meet you at the end of the block in 10?" I said, sounding a little too excited..

"Hahahahha okay dummy, I'll see you there byee" he laughed at my excitement.

"Byeee goofball" After that I hung up. Time to get rekt.

*Skips whole school day*

As I'm walking out of those school doors, being the type of person who doesn't give a crap, I yell at the top of my lungs.

"FREEDDDOOOMMMMMM"

The funny part is, after I did that, everyone else started yelling it too.

"Looks like you started a trend haha"

I turn around to see Matt.

"Why yes I did & I'm very proud of myself." I said with a smile plastered across my face. "Are we going to walk home together today? Its already getting dark." I said, since the timezone has changed, it gets darker earlier & I hate walking without Matt.

"I can't today, I have to walk to my friends house today which is this way" He pointed left, which was the exact opposite as I wish he would've pointed cause I have to go right.

"Okay we'll I'll see you whenever I feel like it love ya Espinoza!" I said walking in the direction my house was.

"Love ya too Lorraine!!" I heard him yell from behind me, I just smiled & kept walking.

As I was walking, it was getting darker & darker. I was so timid cause it was so sketchy.. Every few minutes I would turn around cause I kept hearing noises. After a few minutes I finally see my house, so I run to it. I open the door which should be locked... But its not.

"Mom? Dad? I'm home!"

*no answer*

"Okay" I said, a little freaked out.

I shut the door & went up to my room, & set my stuff down, I plopped on my bed & pulled my computer to me to check Facebook.

"KLUNK"

That noise scared the crap out of me, I got up off my bed & went downstairs.

"Mom, dad? Is that you..?"

*no answer*

"Maybe I'm just freaking out, I'm hungry." I said walking towards the kitchen, I get into the cabinets & get some chips to hold me over till mom comes home.

Then as I went to turn around something was put over me.. & I'll I did was scream, then darkness...
