Simon's pov
'Can we go out in the snow now guys?' Vikk asked.
'Haven't you had enough of the Snow Vikk. You did just get back from The Pack ski trip.' I said, laughing.
'Nope I love the snow and it hardly ever snows here so we have to make the most of it.' Vikk said jumping up and down excitedly. All of us were really like big kids but that's why we always had fun together.
So that's how we ended up messing around in the snow in the garden this afternoon. We called Tobi, Ethan and Harry and they joined us.
'Ow Josh that was hard!' I shouted as Josh hit a snowball on my face.
'Isn't that my line Si?' Josh smirked and I blushed. Everyone found it hilarious and burst into laughter. To be fair it didn't take much to make us laugh.
I scowled and threw a snowball back at Josh, hitting him on his back. He yelped a bit in surprise then carried on with the snowball fight we were all having.
'Who wants to build a snowman?' Harry asked.
'Me! But if you call it Olaf I'm leaving. You're to obsessed with Frozen.' Vikk said and he and Harry went of to get started on the snowman.
'We should get a little fire going for when it gets dark.' Tobi suggested.
'Yeah and we could roast marshmallows on it.' JJ added.
'Shopping trip! Who's coming?' Ethan shouted and Tobi and JJ both said they would go. I looked to Josh who shook his head.
'I think Josh and I will stay here. We had better keep an eye on the children.' I chuckled and looked over at Vikk and Harry.
'Ok we'll see you later then.' Ethan said and headed off with Tobi and JJ to get some supplies from the supermarket.
We waved goodbye and I sat down in one of the garden chairs. It was covered in snow but I had my waterproof pants on so it didn't matter. I motioned for Josh to come over to me and when he did I pulled him onto my lap.
'Hey.' Josh said as he leant into me.
'Hey. I missed you Joshy.' I said and wrapped my arms around his waist.
'I've been with you all day Si.' Josh laughed.
'Yeah but not like this. I've missed holding you.' I said and held him tighter.
We sat in the chair for a while watching Vikk and Harry as they built their snowman. It was cold out here but with Josh on my lap I could feel a slight warmth radiating from his body. He turned to his side and lay his head on my chest. I rested my chin on his head gently and took his hand in mine. Pretty soon and Josh's breathing was getting heavier. I could tell he was about to fall asleep so I closed my eyes and let myself drift off too. After all the playing in the snow we were both a little tired.

'Simon what the fuck is that?' I awoke to hear Josh shouting.
'Um I dunno. Maybe lightning?' I replied. I didn't want to open my eyes. I was still tired and there were white flashes of light going off all around me so I snuggled closer to Josh who'd fallen asleep on my lap.
After I'd said that I heard a lot of laughter. I finally opened my eyes to see Harry, Vikk, Ethan, JJ and Tobi standing around me and Josh. They were all in fits of laughter.
'What's so funny?' I scowled.
'You two.' Ethan replied.
'You thought it was lighting omg.' Harry laughed which caused the others to start laughing again.
That's when I noticed they all had their phones in their hands. The flashes must have been from them.
'Have you guys been taking pictures of us again?' I asked and they all nodded.
'Let me see then.' I demanded and held out my hand for one of their phones. Vikk handed me his and I looked at the photo of me and Josh that he'd taken. It was actually really cute. Josh was laying on my lap with his head resting on my chest and I had my arms wrapped around him. We had both been asleep.
'Send them to me, they're cute.' I said to them all.
'What's cute?' Josh asked as he finally woke up properly.
'You are Joshy.' I said and hugged him tighter. Everyone made puking sounds around us and we just laughed.
'Enough of the mushy stuff you two. We've got a fire to make.' Ethan said.
We started a little fire using some old bricks and some sticks we'd collected. Tobi, Ethan and JJ had come back from the supermarket with matches, marshmallows, sticks for the marshmallows and instant hot chocolate. We all crowded around the fire and began to toast our marshmallows.
'I wish it would snow here more often.' Vikk said.
'Yeah this is fun.' Josh said who was now sitting in a chair beside me instead of on my lap. I wanted to kiss him so bad right now. He looked so cute with his hat pulled right down over his ears and his scarf bundled up around his neck.
As everyone was eating their marshmallows and drinking their hot chocolate they began to talk amongst themselves. I grabbed Josh's hand and led him around the corner where the garden gate was so no one would see us.
'What are you up to Si?' Josh asked.
'I don't like sharing you. I want some more us time.' I said and pushed Josh against the gate gently.
I closed the gap between us by pressing my lips to Josh's. As our mouths began moving in sync I could taste the sweetness of the marshmallows and hot chocolate mixed together. It was a slow and gentle kiss and it felt amazing to be doing this out in the snow.
'I love you babe.' Josh said as I pulled away and he looked up at me. I kept my body to his and we stood looking at each other for a while.
'I love you too baby.' I replied.
I decided this night should end on a cute note so I gently pressed my lips to Josh's again but only for a second. I held his face in my hands and softly rubbed my nose against his in a little Eskimo kiss. I wanted this moment to last forever.
