{Chapter 5}

[Mia's POV]

A few months passed. Kendall and I are still together. We're at the smoothie store when, "Kendall!" Someone squeaks happily.

I look up and there's this brunette girl with gray eyes.

"Alice!" Kendall replies as he hugs her.

Alice. His ex-girlfriend.

"Alice, meet my girlfriend, Mia." Kendall introduces.

"Hi," I smile and we shake hands. She's grabbing hard on my hand and then she lets go.

"Nice meeting you," Alice faked smile. What the hell is wrong with this girl?

I smile awkwardly when, "Sit here with us." Kendall offers.

She takes a seat right next to Kendall. She's so close to him. While Kendall finishes his smoothie, Alice glares at me. Okay, this is getting weird.

After we finish our smoothies, "So, who do you live with now?" Alice asks Kendall.

"Mia," He smiles.

There's something on Alice's face when she looks at me. It's like she hates me. Well, maybe she does. I don't know.

"I'm happy for you guys," Alice says in a sarcastic tone. Okay, it's official. She hates me. But, what did I do wrong though?

"Thanks," I hear Kendall says. This is getting awkward.

Alice stands up and grabs Kendall's wrist. "Can you come with me?" She asks, looking at Kendall with her puppy eyes.

"Where to?"

"To the ice cream parlour nearby." She points to the ice cream parlour.

"Mia, you wanna come?" Kendall asks.

I shake my head. I see sadness in Kendall's eyes. I want to apologize but Alice hates seeing me with Kendall. Then, they walk out of the smoothie store. I shrug and walk to the bathroom.

I splash some water on my face and look into the mirror. All I see is a weak girl. Who has a boyfriend where everyone wants to steal. But, that girl can't do anything. She's weak. I'm that girl. I'm weak. I shake my head and walk out of the bathroom when I see Kendall and Alice sitting next to each other.

Kissing.
