[Kendall's POV]

I wake up and I realize I'm in my bed. I don't recall going to bed. I look at the clock and it's 10 am. Woah, I overslept. I get off the bed and go downstairs. Mia's in the kitchen, cooking breakfast.

"Morning." She greets. Her morning voice. The voice that I'll always love.

"Hey, when did I go to bed?" I ask, sitting on the chair at the counter.

"You fainted yesterday after I got back from dinner."

"Wait. You carried me upstairs to our room?"

"Yep. It was a lot of work but I did get you in bed. I bet you were really tired."

"Sorry that you had to carry me," I mumble.

"It's okay." She chuckles. She puts 2 pieces of bacon and an egg in my plate.

"Thanks." I breathe.

"Don't thank me."

"Why not?"

"You've been taking care of me. Thank you."

"It was nothing." I smile.

I finish my breakfast quickly and take a bath. After that, I walk downstairs and Mia's nowhere to be found. I search for her, calling her name. No answer. Guess she's out. I sigh and sit on the couch. I want Mia back. She used to be my girl. She was mine. All mine. I look at the floor.

I shake my head and decide to visit my parents since I got nothing to do. I grab my car keys and start the car. Then, I drive away.

Once I arrive there, I climb out of the car and knock on the door. Mom answers it.

"Hey, mom." I hug her.

"My little boy. I missed you." She whimpers.

"I'm sorry, mom. I've been kinda busy lately."

"It's okay. Come in." She says and I step in as I close the door after me.

I sit down on the couch in the living room when dad comes and sits next to me.

"How's my boy doing?" He asks, smiling.

"Good, dad. Thanks. How's life?" I answer.

"Great." He says shortly and turn on the tv.

Mom comes and put a plate full of cookies and a glass of milk on the small coffee table for me.

"So, how's Mia?" Mom suddenly asks, sitting on the chair.

"She's good."

"Kevin told us everything." Dad sighs.

"Look, I'm sorry. I'm trying to fix everything, okay?"

"We're not mad at you. Just take care of Mia. Does her parents know?"

"No," I shake my head slowly.

"But, she found another guy, I guess." A tear rolls down on my cheek. "I miss her, mom."

"Kendall, she'll be fine as long as she's with you." Mom comes to me and wipes off the tear.

"Mom,"

"Yeah?"

"What if she remembers everything in all of a sudden? What should I tell her? I broke my promise. And I don't think I can fix our relationship."

"Well, tell her the truth. That's the only way. Now, don't cry. Eat your cookies." Mom demands softly.
