Four

Ashley and Jamie glared at me the entire way to the mall, making me want to turn around and ask what exactly what their problem was. Before I did, Jamie finally stood in front of Skylers and spoke, her voice completely filled with attitude.

"Jamie, why did you introduce us to someone like Sydney?" She said, glaring at me. That completely pissed me off.

"Pause. Just because I dress like this you automatically assume I'm like that school slut Sydney? Well I'm not. Don't ever in your life say that I'm in any way like that STD burrito Sydney or else, got that?!" I said, snapping on her. I can't believe she compared me to that slut. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath before starting to walk away.

"Wow Jamie. You managed to misjudge her and piss her off in less than three hours. Congratulations. That's a new record. " Kaeden said, his voice sarcastic at the end.

"It's time to go to school but you better apologize later. I'm riding with you all, since she probably wants to be alone right now. " I heard Skyler say. At least she understood how I felt.

I shook my head as I got into my car and drove away, making my way towards the school, thinking about what that girl had the nerve to say about me.

I sighed softly when I pulled into the school parking lot, turning off my car and getting out of it. When it was locked, I made my way into the school, throwing my purse onto my shoulder. I walked into the school and went to my locker, getting my books out of it before slamming my lockers shut. Before I could turn around, large hands an a strong body pressed against me. I turned around and gasped when I saw it was Xavier. His body was tightly pressing against mine an he was giving me a weird look. His eyes looked different, they were that darker shade of his eyes that they'd been getting lately. But they seemed to have a glow. I started to move away but before I knew it, he let out a loud animalistic growl before he pressed his lips to mine. My eyes were wide open while he kissed me. His lips were so plump and soft, and with his body pressing against me,bit felt amazing. Still, I tried to push him away from me, but he only pressed tighter against me. I couldn't resist anymore and I kissed him back, dropping my book and wrapping my arms around him. That made him growl again an he deepened the kiss. He wrapped an arm around me and his skin touched mine. When his skin touched mine, it felt like a thousand volts of electricity ran trough my body. I felt a strong desire to just jump on him, and I also felt what could only be described as our hearts and souls connecting and molding into one. I dug my hands in his hair and I felt his teeth get longer for some reason. It was when we heard Sydney's scream that we slowly pulled apart. We were both breathing hard and still holding on to each other, and Xavier's friends were crowded around, each one of them looking very tense, but aroused at the same time.

"What the fuck is this?!! You whore! Your trying to have sex with my man in the hallway!! Ill kill you!" Sydney ran at me, but before she could get close, Xavier had her pinned to the lockers by her throat with me behind him and the guys standing protectively around me. He growled loudly at her before speaking.

"Don't ever talk to her like that." He said, the anger clear in his voice. I put a had on his arm to try to calm him down. It seemed to work a bit, his body was shaking with anger, but the shaking slowly stopped when i rubbed his arm. It amazed me how quickly he could change from being aroused to being pissed off. Especially when it had to do with something Sydney said.

"But that slut was trying to have sex with you and trying to be your mate! she cant be your mate! Only I can!!!" She said, yelling and trying to pull his hand from her throat. The guys crowded even tighter around me, similar to the way that the Presidents bodyguards crowd around him. I saw Xaviers hand tighten around Sydney's throat, and i heard a deep and fierce growl coming from him. Hell I felt it and my hand was just on his arm.

"Dont you dar speak of her like that. You will never be my mate. She is my mate, and she always will be. So back the fuck off!!" He said before throwing her into some far away lockers. MY mouth hung open at his strength. Was he taking steroids or something? Because there was no way that he was possible of doing that otherwise. He made a step toward here, where she was leaning against the lockers. Knowing that he was going to do something worse, i wrapped my arms around his waist and pressed my face to his strong back.

"Don't do anything else. Please...I'm starting to get freaked out.." I said softly. And I spoke the truth. All this talk about mates and what not. Only wolves and wild animals have mates, and i know they're not Australian, and even then their definition of mate means friend. Not only that, but his freakish strength is what really scared me..imagine if he had been really ticked ff. Just thinking about it gives me the chills.

Xavier sighed and turned around so that my face was in his stomach. He wrapped his arms around me and kissed my head. "Take her to my dad." He said. The guys nodded to him then carried Sydney out of the school.

~Sydney~

I stood before an almost exact replica of Xavier. Otherwise known as the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. He was much taller and muscular than Xavier, and his eyes were a deep green instead of bright blue like his sons. The six foot ten man glared down at me in a way that made e shiver in fear.

"Why are you insulting my sons mate? And I've received word that you even tried to scare her away from Xavier. Explain yourself." He said, using the Alpha command of his voice.

"Sh..she needs to stay away from Xavier! Hes my mate! That slut cant have him." Before i knew it, i was slammed against the wall hard by an invisible frce. The Alpha was using his powers on me.

"You will not take that tone with me and you will not speak of the future Luna of this pack in that manner!" He yelled.

"Future Luna! Please! He hasn't even marked or mated her yet!" I yelled at him, The force holding me against the wall got tighter, making it harder to breathe.

"I said don't take that tone with me! And weather he has marked and mated her or not, you will leave the girl be.Understood?!" He said, making sure that he tightened the force even more against me.

"Y..yes alpha..." I said.

"I'm letting you off with a warning since this is the first time I've had any trouble out of you. Don't let this happen again." He said.

He released me and left the room. Screw what the alpha said. Xavier is mine and i will do anything to make sure I am his mate and not that trashy piece of shit called Aria. This pack will be mine, and so will Xaviers heart. No matter what it takes.
