When the bell finally rang, I packed up my things and left the classroom as quickly as possible. There was no way I'd get stuck alone with that beast again. Shaking my head, I went to my third period class, which was another class with Xavier. That thought made butterflies come to my stomach. Those butterflies went away as soon as I remembered that third period was Pre-Calculus. God I hate math. Shaking my head, I went into the classroom. I wasn't shocked to see that Xavier was sitting with his group of friends in the back, right along with the Beast. That's what I decided to nickname her. When he noticed me, he waved me over to sit beside him. I smiled softly and walked over to him, my eyes on the floor while his guy friends watched me walk towards him. I sad down in the desk and crossed my legs, a smile on my face.
" Xav, I'm warning you now. I abhor math." I said to him. He chuckled at me and and let my head again, making me pout. Come on seriously? Again with the petting thing? Way to make a girl feel short man.
"Oh the little bitch know big words." The beast said while rolling her eyes. For that reason, that pissed Xavier off.
"She is not a bitch Sydney. Call her by her name. Her name is Aria. " he said angrily, shaking a bit as he said it. Worried for the beast, I put my hand on his arm and he immediately stopped shaking. Electric shocks shot up through my skin, and I'm guessing he felt the same thing because he stiffened before turning to look at me again, his eyes going a shade darker as the did at the mall. Clearing my head, I looked over at the beast and smiled at her.
"First of all, Sydney, abhor his not a big word. It's five letters, which makes it a very small word. Perhaps you should pay more attention in your language class, and maybe pick up a dictionary sometimes. Fill your head with something other than air, eh?" I said with my best asshole smile and face. Afterwords, I looked at Xavier, shaking my head when I noticed he was smiling at me. The teacher soon called attention to the class and cut off the lights. Pulling out my notebook and pencil, I began to take notes.
About halfway into the class, I noticed that Xavier was continuously staring at me. Raising an eyebrow, I poked him with my pencil.
"Is there something on my face? You keep staring at me..."
"Ah, no sorry. Your just....really beautiful." His words caused me to blush. I opens my mouth to speak but the teacher cleared her throat.
"Excuse me miss, is your conversation more important than my class?" She said. Her name was Mrs. Pitts, and I could tell she didn't have the best of attitudes.
"Uh, no ma'am. I apologize. " I said softly.
"Mmhm well since your the new girl anyway, come introduce yourself." She said, turning to write something on the large Promethean board. I sat back in my chair and stared at her. The woman was dark in skin color, with dyed honey colored hair with black and brown streaks that stopped just below her neck. She was a bit of a curvy woman, and was taller than me by at least a foot. Her feet were out in flip flops that showed some kind of tattoo on her left door and some very very not-so-attractive toes that were painted orange. She also had brown eyes and thin lips.
My hazel brown eyes looked at Xavier, wondering what to do before she turned around and spoke with a lot of tude. "I'm waiting!"
Sighing softly, I got up from my desk and walked to the front of the class.
"Um, well my name is Aria Apostolos. I'm 16 and I'm new to Canada. " I said smiling softly.
"What kind of last name is that? And where are you from?"
