She's tired, but she can't fall asleep,
she stays up all night thinking
about life & what could come to be.
But pain & depression constantly
find a way into her nebulous thoughts,
somehow sneaky, but they always
continue to get caught.
So she allows them to consume her
as her heart still continues to beat,
but she still searches for happiness
because she won't accept defeat.
