I reached into my pocket to pull out the $20 bill, but Donny stopped me. "Keep it. We are just gonna have a little talk." She said, gritting her teeth to walk closer towards me and back me up against a different set of lockers. "My friend, Laura, told me that she saw you and Cara this morning."

I gulped and looked down the hall to see if any of the teachers was out to check on the tardy kids, but there was no one. "She might have saw correctly." I rebelliously said, but instantly knew that I would regret it.

"Bitch, do you know who I am?!" She yelled, slamming her fist against the locker beside me which automatically resulted in making me flinch. "You don't touch her, look at her, talk to her, while you're at it, don't even fucking think about her. You're trash."

I gritted my teeth. I hated being put down so much. I just wanted to escape the constant torment of that school so badly at this moment. "Fuck you." I said under my breath.

Donny quirked her head, "What the hell did you just say?"

"Don, that's enough!" A girl said from behind her, making the girl turn around.

"Cara, leave me alone. This isn't your business." Donny snarled, turning back around to raise her hand and bring it down harshly on my face. My head hit the lockers, causing a light head feeling. Soon, my legs were unstable and Donny kept throwing punches as I fell to the floor.

Cara ran after Donny to pull her by her waist and turn her around to look at her. After Donny came down from the mad high and starting breathing normally, Cara spoke up. "Babe, let's just go to class. Okay?"

I could barely see the two girls fully, but my blurred vision still ensured me that they were holding each other. The bigger girl, who I knew was Donny by her thicker figure, looked down at me before grabbing Cara's hand to walk away.

I coughed a little bit, but decided my best bet would be to find the nearest bathroom to make myself look as presentable as I could even though I was extremely shook up and would've rather laid on the floor in defeat.

In the middle of my last class, I got a notification on my phone. Normally, I wouldn't be so risky and check my phone in my last hour because my teacher is a prick, but I'd do anything to keep my attention off of school right now.

Camila: bippity boppity boo

Y/N: what the fuck?

Camila: lmao nothing. you're still in class right?

Y/N: yeah

Camila: Joan wanted me to tell u that your Dad's driver will be late. he has to pick up Lauren from the store. she went to get groceries.

Y/N: oh um ok

Camila: is everything alright?

Y/N: yeah. everything is fine. I'll see you at home.

Everything wasn't fine, but I knew I had to act like it was.

Before I could put my phone away, the last bell of the day rang making everyone hurry to leave the class. I took my time to collect my books before heading out to my locker. The only thing on my mind was to get the fuck out of that school as fast I could.

I checked the empty hallway before walking towards my locker. I didn't want to be bombarded with another incident like this morning. Luckily, I was able to get into my locker and out to the semi-busy car pick up line where I would wait for Daddy's driver. I took a seat on the curb and stared out at the entrance of the pick up line where the driver would come in. I kept thinking that if I focused hard enough, the car would get there faster.
