"Sherlock?"

"Hmmmm?" I said, not opening my eyes to look at him.

"Do I look okay?" I could see him perfectly in front of me, his sandy hair cut in his military style, his jaw set defiantly, yet his mouth turned up just slightly in the corners. He looked perfect.

"You look fine," I told him, not wanting to reveal anything.

"Really, you can see me through the inside of your eyelids?" I opened my eyes to reveal a fourteen year old version of the man I had been picturing.

"You look fine," I repeated. John headed for the front door. "Where are you going?"

"Me and Marcus are going out." he said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. "I told you three times."

"Marcus and I. It’s Marcus and I, not me and Marcus." John just rolled his eyes.

"Seeya Sherlock." I grumbled a reply as John left for his date, closing my eyes and going back to my mind palace. My eyes flicked back open when I heard a familiar noise. I sat up and took in the blue box that was now in my flat.

"Doctor?" The man ran out of the box coughing and sputtering, a great deal of smoke pouring out after him. "Ah, finally! I’ve been looking for you ever since you stormed off. Let m. tell you, some of your neighbors, not too friendly when a man in a blue box pops into their flat..."

"I think you’ve got a bigger problem," I said, indicating the smoke pouring out of the TARDIS. He shrugged.

"Can’t take more than fifteen minutes to fix. When I’m done with it, you need to come with me. Before you screw something up." I hesitated, then nodded. "Good. I’m going to go fix that. You stay here." He jabbed a finger at me then pointed down before turning and walking back to the box.

I scrambled around the room looking for paper. I finally found a sheet that didn’t have anything. I flung some of my experiments off the table and grabbed a pen, scribbling out a note. Finishing it, I searched the fridge. Where was it, where was it... Ah! I pulled the sticky note off the fridge and stuck it at the bottom.

A few minutes later the Doctor emerged and led me into the TARDIS.
