The same morning.

"Yeah, I tell you, his name is... Uh, wait..." Anthony checked the folder one more time. "Yeah, here it is... Ryan, Ryan Higa."

"Yeah, you sure?"

"Positive. I already told you, didn't I? Listen Can you do it or not?" Anthony was annoyed when people questioned him more that once.

"Yeah, so... Monday night., next week... just checking man."

"Exactly, around... Uh, 7 pm. I'll be there around eleven."

"Okay, but you're going to make the guy that's been hitting on my girl, right?"

"Of course! It's a deal."

"'Kay. See ya, man."

Anthony had been talking on the phone with a 'banker' named Gary Powell.  The whole 'banker' thing was a cover, just like Anthony's as a vet. Gary was an expert disappearing people, Anthony had to recur at his services, he would had done it himself, but he couldn't because after a small chat with Ian, he discovered that Ian thought that he was his first and only victim, that was why he wasn't scared of him. That made Anthony's heart race, if Ian only knew...

That's the reason he couldn't let Ian know.

After that phone call and a good warm bath, Anthony was lying across his bed, extremely interested on whatever he was writing....

'Stab after stab. I could feel him, his cold blood splashing my face. And what I felt, Oh, Julian, was something I haven't felt ever in my life, I was doing this for someone I really care about, my baby, Ian. He's the sweetest person ever. Someday, I'll show you a picture of him.'

Anthony stood up from the bed and stretched out a bit, a few of his bones cracked from being so much time lying on the bed and resting his weight on his elbows while writing on his dai- While telling Julian how was his week. He closed his red notebook and didn't bothered on put it back on his drawer, he just left it on the dressing table.

Anthony casually glanced at his phone, to see if there was a new message from Nick when he noticed that he was 15 minutes late to pick Ian up from school.

"Shit! shit! shit!" Anthony muttered as he ran downstairs, he took his wallet and car keys and ran to the garage to start his car and drive as fast as he could to pick up his baby.

When he arrived to school, Ian was standing alone leaning against a light post.

Anthony quickly came out of the car and opened the passenger door for Ian.

"Sorry baby, time flies." Ian's expression was unreadable.

"It's okay, ant" His tone was a bit off.

"Baby? What's wrong?" Anthony asked concerned.

"A-Andy."

"What a about him, honey boo?"  Anthony asked, smirking mentally, brush the hair off Ian's face.

"Andy was found dead."

"Ohh... Really?" Anthony faked surprised.

"Yeah... They think he was assaulted."

"Oh, well, things happen. It's okay, at least he won't bother you again."

"Yeah... I guess." Ian shrugged.

"I know something that light up your mood again... Want to go for an ice cream, you can order the biggest one and add it whatever you want."

Ian squealed in glee and hugged Anthony. Anthony couldn't help but smile and hug him back with so much strength, lifting Ian from the ground and spinning him around. Ian just giggled along, enjoying every second.

A few moments later, both of the guys were sitting on the ice creams hop, Ian asked for a chocolate fudge one with whipped cream and lots of sprinkles while Anthony asked for something more simple, a plain vanilla cone. By far, this was the longest time he's been out during the day, and he was having a great time. Ian had whipped cream on the tip of his nose, but he was to busy enjoying his delicious ice cream.

"Baby, you have some whipped cream in there."

"Where?" Ian raised his head so he could look with his big baby blue ayes at Anthony.

"Here, lemme' help you." When Anthony reached with his napkin to whip off the cream on Ina's nose, the television hanging from the roof of the Ice cream shop popped an report about Andy's death. Ian's eyes immediately widened, he only knew a few things about Andy's death, he wanted to know, badly.

Anthony's face hardened instantly and grade Ian by the wrist.

"Let's go."

"Wait, Anthony. I want to see this."

"No, Ian, now.!"

"Just a second."

"ISaid. Now." Anthony said with a extremely dark expression, his eyes shooting daggers. The moment he saw Ian's face, he instantly regretted, how could he? He would never thought of using that tone with Ian, Ian's eyes widened and his lips started quivering, his eyes a bit misty.

"Nonono!, sorry, baby. I didn't meant it. I don't want you seeing this, it's just too much, the guy was harassing you yesterday and now, he's dead. I'm sorry."

Ian didn't responded, Just hugged him, a small tear slipped down his cheek.

On the way back home, Ian fell asleep, Anthony watched in awe his sleepy baby, he didn't had the courage to wake him up, so he just carried him and lye him gently on the sofa, he brought a blanked and snuggled with Ian, slowly closing his eyes, Ian was so soft and warm.

When Anthony woke up, it was nearly 9 pm and  he was alone.

"Ian? Baby?"

When didn't hear any response, he tried checking the garden. Nothing

The kitchen. Empty.

The studio. Empty

The garage. Nothing again.

Then he decided to check in the bedroom.

What Antony found, nearly choked him.

Ian was siting on the bed, his back to the door, he was sobbing and he was reading a book.

Not just any book.

A red notebook, was missing on the dressing table, a red notebook was sitting on Ian's lap.

"I-Ian?" Ian looked at him, his eyes a bloodshot, he was so pale and tear were running furiously down his cheeks.

"You did this, didnt' you?"

Anthony's blood ran cold.
