Chapter 5

I was not ready. The ball came flying at my stomach and before I knew it I was on the ground and hearing the sounds of Rob charging Julian.

"What the heck man why the hell you you throw the ball at her if she was not ready!" Rob yelled while charging at Julian.

"Man I'm really sorry. Jackie I promise I did not mean to do that, I would never intentionally hurt you. Please forgive me." Julian said as he came running over to me to make sure I was ok.

"Dude just stop you've done enough." Rob said still looking pissed off.
"Guys I"m fine, it just knocked the wind out of me. Rob calm down he did not mean it, stop being so protective. Julian don't worry I forgive you." I said as I was getting off the ground.

"Good you're fine, because I think I would be dead if you weren't." Julian replied chuckling. "Well I think we should end practice now, and just have another one after next practice." Tom said as he started to head to the locker room.

"Good Idea. Hey Shorty race you to the locker room" Julian said winking at me. "You're on loser" I shouted running off.

As I sprinted off to the locker room I couldn't help but think about Julian. His eyes are just so amazing, and he really seemed to feel horrible for knocking the wind out of me. I now know that he would never try to hurt me. Rob will never let me date him now though. Any chance of that went out the window with the incident today. I didn't realize how fast I was going but all of a sudden I was at the locker room.

"I win Jules! Guess we know who the better runner is now!" I shouted out of breath. "You barely won Shorty, so don't get too confident, and I let you win." He said walking up to me.

"Yeah sure that's what losers say" I said walking closer to him. Why does this man have to be so attractive?

"Well since I'm the loser how about I take you out to dinner tonight?" He asked stepping even closer. Julian was so close I could smell how sweaty he really was from practice.

"Fine. Here is my number, but don't let Rob know because he already kinda wants to kill you." I said giving him my number on a piece of paper. "See you tonight Beautiful." Julian said as he winked and walked away.

Holy crap. I just got asked out by Julian Edelman the hottest guy on the Patriots. Rob just can't find out because that will just make this whole thing really messy. I can't wait for tonight when it is just me and Julian.
