Chapter 6

The ride home from practice with Rob was pretty quite, well besides the blaring music we had on. I think Rob is still worried about me. I don't know why though because we have both taken a lot worse hits before.

When we got home, Rob walked right into the kitchen and I followed. Practice sure does make you hungry.
"Rob you know I'm fine right?" I say looking over at him while getting the stuff out to make mac n cheese

"Yeah I know, Just stay away from Julian right now, I don't know if I trust him yet" Rob replied keeping his eyes in the fridge, trying to decide what to eat.

"You know he didn't mean to hurt me, Julian is really nice, just give him a chance" I said trying to keep my face emotionless

"I know Jackie, I just don't trust him yet. And can you make me some mac n cheese too." Rob explained as he was closing the fridge.

As we ate our mac n cheese, we watched American Ninja Warrior. I love this show. Whenever Rob and I watch, we always dare each other to do crazy tricks. We normally fail.

"Jackie I dare you to scale the counter in the kitchen" Rob said chucking

"Deal, but only if you do a flip off the couch Rob" I yelled while running to the kitchen. 

"Ok just I get to record you doing it" Rob said pulling out his phone
"Fine, Just no youtube, or coach will kill us"

After successfully scaling the counter I went upstairs to get ready for my date with Julian. He is picking me up at 8, and I am just gonna tell Rob that I am going out with friends. Hopefully he will believe it, I mean he can be pretty stupid sometimes.

After showering I put on my outfit. A pair of white jeans and a really cute top. I wanted to look good but not over do it. One because I didn't know how I feel or Julian feels about this, and Two I had to convince Rob I was only going out with friends.

After changing, checked Instagram. Since being drafted by the Patriots, I am getting tagged in a lot more photos. I try to like some of them to show that I appreciate the support.

As I was scrolling through my feed I got a text from a new number
"Hey it's Julian, I am on my way. I will text you when I get to your place so you can just walk out so Rob doesn't see us." The text read.

"Ok I'm ready when you get here" I replied while walking down the stairs, with a big smile on my face. For some reason I am both nervous and excited. I don't really know him yet, I just know he is hot. I also just really don't want to get caught.

"You look nice. Are you going out with friends or something?" Rob asked as I entered the kitchen.

"Yeah, I'm going out for a bit, don't worry I will stay out of trouble. And don't throw a party while I am gone" I answered with a smile on my face. 

My phone buzzed, and I knew it was the text from Julian, I didn't check my phone in case Rob saw who I got a text from.

"Ok, see you later" I said while hugging Rob and walking out the door. Good he bought it, he really thinks I am going out with friends. As I was walking down the drive way I looked at my phone

"I'm here beautiful, and I hope you ready for a great night" read the text from Julian.

When I approached the fancy black sports car, Julian got out walked around the car quickly and opened the door for me. Let's hope this will be a fun night.
