6 years later.
"Daddy daddy guess what!!!"
Is the first thing I hear when I open the door from work.
"What little man" I say scooping Jorden up in my arms.
"I missed you" he said hugging my neck.
"What did you do today buddy"
"I help mommy wiff wayda and wanden"
"You helped mommy with Jayda and Landon. Wow buddy that's awesome. Where is mommy"
"She's wiff the babies"
"Okay well why dont you go play with Kayla"
"Otay" he said getting down and running into the other room.
When I opened the nursery door the sight took my breath away. No matter how many times I see my beautiful wife with our children in her arms my breath still gets caught in my chest.
"I'm the luckiest man in the world. I have a beyond beautiful wife, and four beautiful children with her." I wispered into Lexi's ear as I wrapped my arms around her.
"How was your day love? I sure did miss you, our little bundles of joy did to. They want daddy more than mommy don't yall" I said and both Jayda and Landon gave me a little toothy grin.
"Awe did my babies miss me? Well let's have a bottle before bed shall we". We have the twins their bottles and put all the kids to bed.
"I missed you today. It's so weird having you all to my self all summer and then you going off to work all day" Lexi said cuddling up in my arms.
"I know baby Its weird for me as well. All i could think about was getting through the day so I can come home to my perfect family. I love you Mrs. Davis"
"I love you too Mr. Davis."
