Lexi p.o.v

 Right when Zoey and I took a chocolate cake out of the oven I felt two strong arms wrap around my waist and I leand back into the muscular chest I know all to well.

"Mmm look at you all covered in flower. So sexy" Colton whispered in my ear.

I crabbed at cupcake with blue icing on it and turned around to look at Colton. "Look at you, so sexy with your cute little blue nose" I whispered and shoved the cupcake in his face and ran up stairs.

"LEXI!!!!" I heard as i raced upstairs and hid in the bathroom where i knew the door would lock. "You better open this door right now or your not gunna like it" He threatened but i could hear the smile in his voice.

"Ohh really now. And whats going to happen if i don't open the door. Are you gunna spank me?" I joked.

"Don't tempt me baby" he said while walking into the bathroom.

"W-what H-how did you get in?" I asked shocked. 

"Baby girl I have 1 sister and 3 other brothers, i got a key to every room in this house" he said with a smirk on his face while coming closer to me." 

He when to put his arms beside my head when i ducked underneath him and ran. "I grew up with an older brother, I know how to get my self out of many situations" I yelled back racing down the stairs. On the last step i felt Colton grab me and throw me over his shoulder. I felt him pat all my pockets in my shorts like he was looking for my phone, thankfully i left it in my room.

"Mama how long till diner is ready" He asked.

"Not for another hour or so, and Colton, behave" she said shaking her head.

"Yes ma'am" he said kissing her cheek.

"Good luck with him sweetheart" she said to me. By the time she finished Colton opened the door to the back yard. I looked over and i instantly knew what was going to happen.

"Colton I swear if you throw me into that pool you'll be sleeping alone for the next week" When i finished I was thrown in. The pool water wasn't that cold but it was still cool. When i came back up Colton was standing by the side of the pool with a huge smile on his face. That's when i thought of the perfect way to get back at him. I got out of the water and turned the other way and acted like i was crying. 

He was over by my side in a few seconds "Baby whats wrong" he asked

I turned the other way so he couldn't see my face. "You throw me in the water when i asked you not to. I- i don't know how to swim Colton i could have drowned" I cryed.

"Oh my God baby I'm so sorry i just assumed you knew how. Shit I'm so stupid. I'm sorry baby i didn't know" He said trying to get me to look at him.

"Well next time you should ask.For example, do you know how to swim" I asked 

"Of course. That's why i thought you did to" he answered.

"Good then" I said turning around and pushing him into the pool.

Dinner that night was amazing. Zoey made homemade pasta and alfredo. Its been so long since i've actually had a family dinner with the people i love. Since Zoey and John cooked the dinner while Colton and I were playing in the pool i told them that we would clean the kitchen. So with Colton washing and rinsing the dishes i but dinner away and dried the dishes off. 

"You okay baby girl" He asked draining the water and walking over to me.

"yeah. It's just being here makes me think of how i miss all the little things my family and i used to do. Like the way that Matty and I used to play in the pool with each other like we did today minus all the kissing. And the way that my dad and i used to eat a bowl of cookies n cream ice cream on the couch while we watched a movie after cleaning the kitchen. My mom and i never really did any bonding Matty was closer to her then i was but i still miss her allot" I told him. He reached up and whipped the tear rolling down my cheek.

"I'm sorry Lexi.I can't say i know what your going through because i've never have to but i know that of anything ever happened to my mother or father i would be devastated. And we can come back up here any time you want. I love you now lets go to bed" Colton said kissing my head.
