Chapter 9

DJ POV

I quickly got dressed as the guys and I tried to shake off the fact that Aaliyah burst in on us. I mean she was not catching the privacy vibe we were begging for.

"Ready females?" I turned around and asked them.

They nodded and we walked down the stairs to find Aaliyah sitting in the white room watching tv.

"Let's go ma." I said. She smiled and walked to us. We walked out and hopped in Justin's truck and left.

"What about your mom? We just gone leave her?" James asked.

"Yes. She left me alone for damn near 13 years!" She snapped. We all tried to hold in our laughter. It wasn't funny, but Aaliyah really had a point.

"What's so funny?" She snapped.

"Come on." I wrapped my arms around her.

"Quit this shit while I'm back here." Victor said while pushing Aaliyah on me. We started laughing.

"Stop Victor." Aaliyah whined.

"Y'all tight back here." Victor said laughing.

"Shut up!" Justin yelled. Everybody tried to hold their laughter in. We pulled up to the warehouse and hopped out the car like a bunch of clowns.

"La da di da di. We like to party! Dancing with Miley! Doing whatever we want to!" Aaliyah sang loudly. I gripped her around her waist from the back and ran my nose on her neck.

"You singing now?" I whispered in her ear. She giggled and nodded.

"Damn get y'all loveable butts in before y'all get nasty." Justin said walking in. I grabbed her hand and lead her in.

"Sit out here. We gone go up stairs and get some stuff." I kissed her cheek and running upstairs with the boys.

Aaliyah POV

I sat downstairs alone. I was about to plug in the Playstation 3 and play it until I heard a knock on the door.

"Get that LiLi!" Justin called. I got up and went to the door. I swung it open and saw two boys in all black wearing masks. The first thing that popped in my mind was run, so that's exactly what I tried to do. I turned around and tried to jump over the couch to get to the stairs.

Someone grabbed my shirt, causing me to fall very hard.

"DJ!" I yelled loudly. But it was too late. The men drug me out the house and into their black Tahoe truck.

DJ POV

When I heard Aaliyah scream my name my heart instantly dropped. Me and my boys grabbed our guns and ran down stairs.

The room was a mess. You could tell she had to put up a fight. They left the damn door open and all. I fell down on the couch and held my face.

"Shit!" I yelled out of anger.

"Mane lets go get her!" Justin yelled.

"Where Justin? We don't know where the fuck she at. Damn mane it's all my fault! I should have never left her down here alone." I said holding my face in my hands.

"Calm down. We gone get her. I promise." Victor said, sitting next to me. I stood up and tucked my gun in my pants.

"Mane lets go get my girl." I said.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Victor said getting his gun and walking towards the door with us. We all hopped in the truck and burned rubber leaving the warehouse.

Aaliyah POV

I sat in the backseat crying my eyes out. The two men sat up front. I want to open the door and take my chances on rolling out into traffic. I don't know these clowns, and clearly they don't know me.

"My dad won't let you get away with this!" I cried out. They both laughed.

"Little girl, Ice ain't gone do shit! You better believe that." The passenger said taking off his mask. He was this young Mexican. They must know I killed them other Mexicans.

"What you want with me?" I asked softly.

"We taking you to Monte." The driver said. That name sounded familiar. I heard my daddy say that name before, but I'm not sure.

"Who the fuck is Monte?!" I spat out.

"The dude that's gone become the king of Compton." Passenger side said.

"Y'all know my daddy run this shit! And when he find out, he gone ship y'all heads back to Mexico." I snapped.

"Not after we kill him." The driver said winking at me through the review mirror.
