After Marth had told Pit about what happened, he was put on watch for the monster. Marth walked as fast as he could back to his room. He saw Ike sitting up, and he smiled. "A-are you feeling any better?" "Yea." "Good." Marth sat on the end of the bed, next to Ike. Ike leaned over and kissed Marth. Marth wrapped his arms around Ike. "You know, i would have done this before if Lucina wasn't distracting you." "Yea, you're right. But we have now to ourselves." Marth smiled and kissed Ike. It was starting to get dark out, so Marth got into the bed with Ike. Ike smiled. "You really do love me, don't you?" "Well, of course." Marth kissed Ike and went to sleep. Ike got as close as he could to Marth. Marth smiled. A loud bang was heard outside. Marth immediately sat up, and rushed to the window to see what was out there. He gasped when he realized what it was. It was like a dark version of Ike. It was all black and had red eyes. Ike looked outside. "I-It took my form.... how?" "I don't know, but we have to go and fight it." Pit was already shooting at it. "Guys, a little help here!" Dark Pit was behind him. Marth and Ike rushed to help them. Link and Mario ran outside. Almost everyone was outside by the next five minutes. Everyone was attacking it, but it didn't seem like they were doing any damage. Marth fell to his knees. "This is hopeless." "No, it's not." Ike helped him up and kissed him. Some people stared with wide eyes. "What?" Then the Dark Ike disappeared. Robin stood behind it, panting. "It's gone....for now." Everyone looked at each other. Some people started tearing up. "Nobody feels safe." Marth said. "That's not true. We are safe from whatever that is." Shulk walked up to where the Dark Ike stood a few seconds ago. He poked the lump of ash with the Monado. "A-are you sure this will work, Robin?" "As sure as I've ever been."
Marth and Ike walked back to their room, just like everyone else. "Good night, Ike." Marth snuggled up to him and kissed him. "Good night."
