With Jake on my right and momma on my left I looked at the mirror in front of me. It was weird feeling them both beside me but seeing only me in the reflection, I guess it's something you never really get use to. Momma had lit candles all around her room to try and set the mood after we realised if I'd used the bathroom one I would have had to have stood in the sink. I looked at the piece of paper in my hand with the two Latin words mr Traven had told me written on it I read it out loud once before momma grabbed me and held me to her chest.
"You be careful okay? You come back to us in one piece or I swear to god I'll find a way to come threw and bring you back myself." I nodded hugging her back, I didn't doubt she would. "You are a part of this family okay? Don't forget that." She kissed my head and let me go wiping  her eyes. I turned to Jake and he grabbed me even tighter. "I love you Jess." He almost growled into my ear. "Be careful. Don't trust anyone over there okay? Even me. I don't want to have to beat myself up." He laughed but his eyes stayed serious. He pulled my chin up and kissed me and I wondered if he could taste my tears as well. I pulled back and turned to see momma with a confused but happy look on her face and blushed turning back to the mirror.
"Verax Transeundum." I put my hand on the mirror." Verax Transeundum." I pushed and felt my hand slip threw into what felt like liquid silver. "Verax Transeundum." I stepped forward into the nothing-ness and blacked out.

"What are you doing in my room?" Oh my god my head. Imagine the worst hangover of your life, that's how I feel right now.
"Hello?" Omg who is that. It's a struggle to open my eyes but I manage, just, and see momma standing over me looking very pissed off.
"Momma?"
"What? Are you on drugs? JAKE!" Why is she yelling? I would do anything to stop the yelling right now. "WHY IS THERE A GIRL PASSED OUT ON MY BEDROOM FLOOR?!" I can hear footsteps coming up the hall and then all of a sudden there is Jake.
"Jake." I can hear my voice come out as a croak, and then I black out again.

I come to this time in a bed, and feeling a lot more human this time, and see Jake beside the bed frowning at me. I grab his hand and pull him into the bed with me, curling around him. The next thing I know he's kissing me and I'm kissing him back. He grabs onto me and runs his hands down my sides and I sigh into him. He lifts my shirt up and I let him, his mouth on my neck all heat and kisses. Then all of a sudden I realise he doesn't smell like Jake. He smells like cologne and hair gel and I pull back.
"What's wrong?" He says looking at me for a second and then trying to kiss me again, except now I see what I didn't before. It's not Jake. He has the same eyes and skin tone and hair colour and his arms are just as big but his mouth doesn't have the same pull to it that my Jake has, his lips so use to smiling they pull up at the edges even when they shouldn't, his hair is gelled so much it looks slick and he doesn't have the scar from the swing. I'm forced to stop my comparison though when he all over a sudden gets up.
"Whatever." He throws my shirt at me. "You weren't any good the first time either." And with that he walks out of his room and leaves me to figure out what the hell just happened.
