It's weird how many emotions you can feel at once.

My eyes burned. I was no longer traveling faster than the speed of light. I was succumbing to the natural pain of motion sickness.

My eyes were finally able to open themselves and see the kingdom in front of me.
The first thing I noticed was the sky. Red splashed with white at what I assumed was the horizon. An inky, black moon was full in the red section. Blazing stars were distributed around it, an eerie sight to a normal person.

The white section of the sky held a shimmering sun, it's bright light reflecting the maroon from above upon buildings and houses. It was neither hot or cold; a temperature in which you can't feel any bit of air at all. But you could still breathe.

We were on a golden bridge, looking out at what seemed to be millions of skyscrapers in an ocean of silver roads. My eyes marveled at the sight, eventually focusing on the great beauty that was towering over every skyscraper and building;

An iron castle, being accented with rich gold, reflecting every color that was seen in the sky. It looked impenetrable; where it was the prettiest, was where there were canons. These canons, larger than a hotel swimming pool and situated in the walls, held a daunting gaze with the world below it.

Gallium immediately trotted over to a bell, which was situated upon a magnificent pillar, and stopped before it. Reaching out his small hand to grip the rope, a loud jingle echoed throughout the space.

Suddenly it felt like everything was being turned upside down. I lost my focus and stumbled, trying to grasp onto anything I could. The sky was making a crumbling sound, the red portion being trumped by the white.

A gasp escaped my lips when everything stopped. My vision was blurry, my feet unsteady, and I felt sick once again. I tried to focus my vision on Arsenic, who was standing tall with his hands in his pockets. Gallium was still holding the rope, staring at me with those wide eyes.

"Eh. Just something you have to get used to on our planet." Arsenic spoke, admiring the now clear, white sky. It had stopped.

"Could... Could you explain what just happened?" My voice was shaking from what just happened, but also from how irritated I was feeling, being so uneducated of this new world.

"Our sky doesn't move naturally like yours does." He began. "They have different names too. Your moon is like our Finstere, the black planet that comes when the sky is red. It looks similar to your moon, but ours doesn't reflect light." Arsenic turned his head and looked at the white sun that now was reflecting its light upon the city.

"Our sun, like yours, does provide us with the heat we need. You can see that it's rather cold here, meaning that our sun, Glanz, doesn't give off as much heat as yours does. We are naturally used to the cold, but we don't have the atmosphere to get snow. Sometimes you can't feel temperature at all. Like now, for example."

He turned and smiled at me, Gallium now back at his side. "Since we want to show you around in the day, we let Glanz up. Later on we'll let Finstere up, and we can go see him."

I looked up at their sun. It was much more beautiful than our own, and much closer as well. But he was right; I couldn't feel anything at all.

My eyes wandered down to Arsenic's wrist; his veins were beginning to crystallize. The Glanz shined upon him lightly, causing small red streams to be reflected up his arm. A memory, a journal page, flashed within my mind;

"I still can't believe I've made it this far with the chemical in me."
