A lullaby that continues to haunt our forgotten memories. When my memories try to come back I can almost remember, what I see is a castle of golden flames a woman that runs with me and my brother. Also a dark lullaby that promised us a future, the one thing I remember about that woman is that, I felt safe with her. And the woman had a necklace with the symbol of a dragon's eye, my brother had a ring and I had a necklace and a bracelet with the same symbol.
But what scared us was when we would see a dark witch say the curse for the eighth time causing my brother to abandon me at my foster mother, Diana Minx's, front door with a letter. From what I remember my brother's name was Christopher Roberts. He was the exact opposite of me but we were identical twins he had olive colored skin, black hair, fit, and had violet eyes with a hint of gold. The curse that the witch chanted was a dangerous and frightening verse,
"At eighteen your life will dwindle
A change will strike, the brother you once loved
Turns to the one you hate, The day you find true love is the beginning of your doom
A demon's desire, a werewolf's anger, a vampire's jealousy and the worlds doomed"
But as she chanted my mother, or, who I assumed the woman was, starts her own chant,
"A demon's love, a witch's spell,
A brother's forgiven, a vampire's friendship
A werewolf's forgiveness, at eighteen a child's born to change
a fate one that is witch, vampire, demon, and human.
World peace is presumed, a lover's bloom, the day is not doomed"
But before I hear the rest of the chants I wake up and come back to reality. My name is Elena Roberts and as fate would have it; I am a full born witch, born under a solar eclipse that means a doomed fate with little hope. But I never knew any of this even that I was a witch, before my eighteenth birthday, which also, is the day that my best friend, Vanessa, was killed.
