Dangerous Fate (on Hold)

Chapter 6

*Axel's POV*

The backdoor of the archives was a portal that could be placed in any doorway and the only thing required of the user is the coordinates of the destination in mind or a clear image. In between here and there the user is placed in a void where the user's mind is placed onto display although at times its thats the last thing that the person wants like me for instance. The void has become completely black, memories, my memories are being on display and passing for all to see then complete blackness. My brother's vicious voice fills the space another memory but only for the senses one in particular, my hearing.

"Hey Axy!" he mocked, "Did you really think you could rule? Did you really think that you are fit?Huh?!"

I wish to cover my ears but I can't the void is a bitch like that and only repeated things to forewarn a user sometimes and I learned to listen after my first mistake.

"The curse is coming closer you know, you can't run away from this fight forever one of us will die and it won't be me, Axy" my brother said maliciously, "...I will kill you but don't worry I'll make sure its painless if you listen to my orders little brother".

"Damien, brother Please! I love you. We don't need to follow destiny, fate or whatever cruel bitch did this" I heard myself beg though it fell upon deaf ears. I remembered his eyes softened for a second before a cold calculating gaze showered over me sending a shiver down my spine and shattered my hope. That I finally had my brother back the one who always reminded me that he loved me and protected me from 'monsters' not knowing he'd soon become one.

"Oh little brother, your still hold hope that fate didn't take the weaker me away aren't you" he stated with cold laughter, "well, too damn bad he was long gone by the time you turned 17 he gave up, you're lucky he locked himself in here before 'I' fully showed but your day will come and it's coming soon don't forget that" he said cryptically.

The darkness had lightened showing me the memory with great detail as if I could forget, I was 19 hoping to see a glimmer of the brother that helped raise me. He was chained to the room by his feet and his hands were bound, he was in was a room made of the strongest steel that could hold a feral alpha with only the simple necessity's available anything like food and water was transported into the cage by a witch or warlock that was put on his guard detail.

"One day, he will be back! No matter what he's still my brother. I will save him!" I screamed as I left slamming the door and usually the vision would end but this time it didn't... it continued.

"So dramatic my little brother is, don't you think pet?" he said into the darkness and out stepped his guard, the vampire Amira, she shrugged giving no opinion but instead kneeled and asked for her next assignment. He grabbed her chin and jerked it upward making her look at him she was confused as I was but his eyes they changed from a royal blue to a dark and deep red to the demon's eyes causing fear to awaken in her's and mine. His hand moved with such speed and precision his hand wrapped around her neck and lifted her off the ground where only her toes were the only thing that was able to touch the floor, she grabbed his arm fighting him trying to have a rush of air in her lungs.

"Time for work, we wouldn't want to be behind schedule would we?" he stated as he dropped her to the ground. Coughing she silently nodded and got to her feet a few feet behind him and opened a portal as they went through a note fell from the vampires jacket. The Void's vision ended and the other side was a red oak wooden door stands on the other side of the door is   where she needs me hopefully this doesn't bite me in the ass. I walk toward the door and about to grab the knob and I look back and then I turned to the knob to uncertainty.
