From previous experiences Clarke should be aware of how much of a bad idea it is to stay up all night, especially when you have classes at 8 a.m the next morning. But Clarke just couldn't help it. Lexa's soft breathing kept her up all night, and it wasn't even in an annoying way, more the opposite. Clarke didn't mind hearing her deep intake of breath and then how it softly left her lungs again as she breathed out. She couldn't help to glance over at the brunette every now and then and watch how her chest slowly moved up and down in a slow and even rhythm. She couldn't help to notice how peaceful the brunette looked with her head resting into the pillow, her lips being a tiny bit spread as she let more air in to fill her lungs. She couldn't lie, Lexa Woods is definitely attractive. Of course Clarke's noticed that. I mean it's pretty hard to miss.
But this can't continue and Clarke knows so. She won't be able to focus on school if she spends her night looking at Lexa. In a none creepy way. Clarke just can't manage to take her eyes off of the girl, and the only time Lexa won't notice how much Clarke really is staring at her is when she's sleeping. There's definitely something special about Lexa Woods and Clarke can't wait to get to know the girl better. She wants to know her. She wants to know what she likes, what she dislikes. Where she's from and so on.
But the choice about staying up half the night is definitely something Clarke regrets as soon as her alarm goes off at 7 a.m in the morning. A loud groan escapes her and she can feel her head spinning by the lack of sleep.
'' Ugh will you turn that thing off? '' Lexa suddenly turns in her bed, letting the words out of her mouth more in a demand than a question. Her voice is raspy and sounds a slight bit irritated by the sound.
Not wanting to piss the brunette of any longer Clarke immediately reaches for her phone to turn off the alarm, keeping the noise from disturbing Lexa. Getting on her bad side is the last thing Clarke wants. As soon as the alarm is off Clarke tiredly throws her head back down on the soft pillow before she carefully glances over at the brunette. Lexa still has her eyes closed and her curly hair is hanging down on the side of her face. Clarke's never seen her like this before. Her hair is always up in a messy bun or she's straighten it out. Clarke didn't even know that Lexa's hair actually is that curly. It's cute. A small smile forms Clarke's lips before it's replaced by a confused look.
Why isn't Lexa up yet? She's usually the first person at school. Clarke always thought that Lexa got up like two hours before school started, but maybe that's just something everyone assumes about her, because Lexa doesn't really seem to be in a rush right now.
'' Aren't you going to get up? '' Clarke carefully asks. She doesn't want to piss the brunette off more than it already seems like she has. But Lexa slowly turns in her bed before she opens her tired eyes. A sigh escapes her before she reaches for her phone on the nightstand beside her bed. Clarke can't help to study every little move she makes, and how Lexa's eyes soon are trying to adjust to the brightness from the phone's display.
'' It's 7 a.m. , Clarke. '' Lexa whines before she throws her head back on the pillow. Clarke couldn't be more confused, of course she knows that and still she's stressed about getting late to school, so why isn't Lexa?
'' Yeah, I know. '' Clarke replies, still just as confused.
'' It's Saturday. '' Lexa explains. For a moment Clarke doesn't know what to say. Did she really wake Lexa up for nothing? Great now she's going to be on Lexa's bad side for the rest of the day, maybe even for the rest of the semester.
'' Oh I'm sorry, I.. I forgot. '' Clarke tries to apologies. Another sigh escapes Lexa's lips as she's now sitting up in her bed. She rubs her tired eyes and let's out a small yawn before she stands up from her bed and makes her way over to her closet.
