The way back to Clarke's dorm has never felt longer. It feels like the hallway is getting longer and longer the more she walks. She doesn't even know if Lexa is back yet, maybe she's out doing something else. She must have a life outside of classes too right? But right now Clarke can't stop thinking about what she and Raven talked about earlier. She made a bet on Lexa Woods. Clarke can feel her stomach twist inside her just by thinking about it. What if Lexa finds out? I mean how would Clarke feel herself if Lexa did it to her? Of course Clarke would like to get to know Lexa, just to really see how she really is, who she is. She wouldn't want to do it just because of a bet she made with Raven. The only reason why she agreed to it was because she just wanted to prove them wrong, Clarke believes that Lexa Woods can be friendly. She can be nice, and fun maybe even. I mean it has to be something behind that mask right. Clarke keeps the thoughts spinning around in her head all way back to the dorm.

She can feel a warmth fill her body as she slowly opens the door to their room. But to her surprise it seems like she's alone, the room is dark and also really quiet. She breathes out in relief before she closes the door behind her.

As Clarke turns around again, ready to just take off her shoes and throw herself down on her warm and comfortable bed she notice Lexa walk out from the bathroom in the dark. In her left hand she holds a candle and she seems just as surprised to see Clarke as Clarke is to see her here.

'' The power went out. '' Lexa explains as she makes her way over to her bed.

Just seeing Lexa again gives Clarke that hard lump in her throat. She feels bad for talking about her behind her back and even more worse for making a bet on her. Slowly Clarke continues to take off her shoes but as she at the same time just stares at Lexa. She's never been alone with her like this before and tonight they're both going to sleep here. Clarke's not sure what she's supposed to do or what she's supposed to even say. For someone who usually is the talker and the person having a trouble to shut up this situation right now is somewhat strange for Clarke. She's never before felt like all words just completely disappears from her. But Clarke knows that Lexa is not going to be the one to start the conversation, it has to be Clarke.

'' I'm sorry about earlier. '' It's all that stumbles out of Clarke's mouth, it's the only thing she can think about saying.

Lexa looks up from the book that she just started to read from where she's sitting on her bed and just looks at Clarke for a while.

'' It's okay. '' She replies shortly.

A simple understanding nod is given from Clarke as she herself makes her way over to her own bed. Just thinking about how she's going to spend three years here together with Lexa Woods makes her both excited, nervous and kind of happy. She's just nervous about how it's going to turn out. What if it is like this all the time? The small awkward conversations. Clarke's not even sure if she would call it much of a conversation. They're mostly just saying a few words to each other.

'' It's just that we were up late last night and watched a movie, and Octavia kept me up all night with her kicking. '' Clarke continues, feeling as if she has to explain.

Lexa looks up again and nods back slowly.

'' So that's where you were. '' Lexa let's out suddenly as she slowly turns her focus back to the book.

A sort of warm and exciting feeling runs through Clarke's body and down her spine. Did Lexa Woods actually realize and maybe even cared that she had been gone the entire night? Clarke can't help but to smile at the words, hoping that Lexa doesn't notice.

'' Yeah, they asked if I wanted to join them. '' She lies. There's no way she can tell Lexa that she didn't sleep here because she was nervous and maybe even a bit afraid of sleeping alone with Lexa Woods.
