(From Y/N POV)
--------------------------"Y/N! I'm home!" I heard a familiar, deep voice yelling excitedly from the front door. I stood up from the couch and walked over to the entrance to see my boyfriend, Wonwoo, placing his luggage on the first stair of the case, his back facing me. I walked over to him and hugged him from behind, making him suddenly flinch.
"You scared me!" He laughed, I smiled against his back. I pulled away and he turned to face me. He unexpectedly picked me up by my waist and spun me around.
"Put me down, put me down!" I squeamishly giggled as Wonwoo slowly lowered me to the ground. He placed a hand softly on my cheek and brought himself down to kiss my lips softly. I, without hesitation, kissed back lovingly. It had been almost a month and a half since I had last seen him. He was doing some touring as part of his career, an idol in the amazing yet life ruining world of kpop."I missed you so much." Wonwoo whispered after he pulled away, looking contently into my eyes.
"I missed you too." I smiled, making him grin back.
"Should we do something? I need to catch up on all the gossip I missed out on!" Wonwoo cheered as he took my hand and pulled me back towards the living room. He sat down, me sitting beside him. He turned the TV on, Netflix ready on the screen.
"Well..." Wonwoo trailed off as if he was thinking of something.
I looked at him curiously, "What?"
"Netflix is already on the TV..."
"Yeah, so?" I just decided to play along, even though I knew where this was going.
"We could- maybe... You know?" Wonwoo shrugged, not meeting my gaze.
"What do I know?" Just acting clueless.
"Um... Netflix and chill?" He suggested sheepishly.
"Aww, maybe another time." I patted his shoulder. Periods, they always have to kill the mood.
Wonwoo sighed disappointedly, "Why does Satan have to have a sacrificial waterfall which flows out of innocent women?" He said quietly, but I still understood him, making me laugh.
"How about a horror movie instead?" I suggested happily. Wonwoo was silent for a few seconds, before nodding expressionlessly in agreement. I selected the movie Annabelle. I got out of my seat to turn off all the lights and quickly make popcorn while the movie intro was starting. The music was dark and eerie sounding from the kitchen. The popcorn was made just in time for the first scene. I brought the big bowl back into the living room and held it in my lap so both Wonwoo and I could eat the snack from it. It was only five minutes into the film and his arms were already pulling me closer towards him. It wasn't even close to a scary part. Wonwoo usually wasn't clingy unless he was frightened and/or he had a bad or unsure feeling about something. And this kind of situation brought that out in him. It was cute though.
Throughout the whole movie, Wonwoo became more and more clingy. Always pulling me towards him, hugging me, kissing my temple, placing his hands on my waist and hips, caressing my arms; the list goes on and on. There were a few times he jumped when the sudden scary parts came up. I was fine though. I wasn't that scared.
The movie was coming to an end, there was around three minutes left. There was an unanticipated clash of thunder from outside, making Wonwoo yell in a shocked manner. He must've been really scared. Within seconds, all the electricity went off. The whole house was pitch black. What made it worse was that it was well into night time.
I groaned frustratedly, "Goddammit!" I got up and searched for my phone on the coffee table. I couldn't see anything, I had to use my hands as eyes. Eventually I found my phone and turned it on. The sudden light made Wonwoo gasp, I chuckled lightly at his response.
"Twenty-five percent left. That should last us." I whispered, putting the phone torch on. I reached out for Wonwoo's hand and tried pulling him up. Only, he shakily stayed in one place.
"Are you scared?" I asked smugly.
"Not at all." He whispered and let me get him on his feet. I led him up the stairs. As we reached the top, the was a bright flash, followed quickly after by a very loud boom of thunder.
Wonwoo screamed before yelling, "Yes I'm scared! You got me! I'm scared!" I laughed at his cute expressions. He whimpered fearfully as we reached our bedroom. I left my phone on the bedside table so Wonwoo could see what he was doing.
"I'll be right back, I'm just going to find the emergency flashlight." I let go of Wonwoo's hand, only to have him pull me back quickly.
"No! I'm too scared! Stay here!" He mumbled as he held me to his chest tightly to the point where I was being suffocated.
"Can't- breathe!" I managed to get out, even though the life was being squeezed out of me. Wonwoo loosened his grip on me, but still kept me close to him.
"If you're going to find that flashlight, at least take me with you." He murmured, grabbing my phone from the little table. I smiled at him and took his hand in mine again, using the phone to guide us. We went into the home study. There were things scattered all over the desk and books unevenly stacked on the bookshelves. Wonwoo's hands found my waist and kept me near him. After a few seconds of looking around the dark study, I found the well needed flashlight on the desk. I ran to go and grab it, leaving Wonwoo's grip. He started to panic.
"Y/N?! Where are you!" He cried. I laughed and walked back to him, touching his arm to let him know I was still alive. He flinched upon contact. I turned the brighter and bigger flashlight on, switching the phone torch off. We walked back into the bedroom, settling into the bed.
"Ah... Y/N?" Wonwoo called softly.
"Yeah, what's up?" I responded.
"I need to go to the bathroom, can you come with me?" He asked with a hopeful voice.
"Are you serious Jeon Wonwoo? The bathroom is literally two steps away from you! You're nineteen years old!"
"Fine, hand me the flashlight." He sighed. I handed him the light which I left on my bedside table. I heard Wonwoo shuffle out of bed and close the bathroom door.
It was all peaceful and quiet until...
"Y/N!"[A/N]
