Eclipse

Chapter 3

I gave up my life at home, and my family didn't care. I was running away. Shadow, one of my four brothers simply laughed. "Good!" He exclaimed. "We got the demon out of the house!" Cato, my youngest sister, was the only one who looked upset. "Bye, Cathryn." I tell her and Cato crosses her arms over her chest. I told Cathryn about me changing my name, and she wanted to do the same. "My name is Cato, now!" She fumed. I pulled her into a tight hug, then walked out the door to Shadow taunting me as I passed him. "See ya, Demon!' He jeered.

I found the Lunar Rouges shortly after leaving and I told them about what happened. Azura listened quietly but Akido interrupted some of the story, and Kinimoto had to shut him up. "Why did they call you a 'demon?'" Azura asked and I replied. "Because of what Death did to me...corrupt my soul." Kinimoto looked shocked as Azura turned to glare at him. "You told her?" She hissed and Kinimoto ducked his head apologetically. "Kinimoto!" She roared. "She had a right to know!" Kinimoto replied stubbornly.

I watched them fight and Akido stood beside me. "Come on." He muttered, walking away from the two. I followed quickly after him, leaving the other two to fight. They came about an hour after we arrived at our hideout. An old, broken downshed. Kinimoto's left eye was shut and swollen, and Azura bore three long scratches across her face. I cared for my friends, but when they were injured by a small quarrel... I didn't pity them. I was now formally part of the Eclipse Rouges.

My name was now Kurisu Inara Lucana Lunar. I originally had no middle name, but the three helped me decide on middle names. I tried to tell them I didn't need one, but they insisted. "It spells kill!" Kinimoto told me and I grumbled a little bit more, finally agreeing.

It had been a week since I had seen my family, and for all I know, they dont care about me. I watched Kinimoto and Azura, sighing. They may have gotten into terrible fights...both of them ending up unconscious and half-dead, but they still seemed so close. At one point I was jealous of them but it soon ended.

My life changed so much with the Lunar Rouges, and I got to meet all the other Rouges. There was a meeting once every month known as The Tavtsand, which is the Mongolian word for Eclipse. My favorite Rouges were Naoku and Ginger, from the  Moon Rouges, and the Solar Rouges. They were very kind to me, and Naoku seemed to find me....amusing. As he put it.

I joined the raids with all the Rouges, killing and  breaking into the stores. The Rouges and I, looted the stores, taking what we pleased. At first, I felt guilty of doing this. I killed innocent people... For amusement! How could I? How could I be so heartless and cruel? Killing people because I was told to, or for amusement. It was wrong, but I stayed in the Lunar Rouges.

One day, I was returning alone from a nightly raid, when a knife was pressed to my throat. I unsheathed my daggers but sheathed them again when the pain in my neck increased. "Hello, demon!" A cold voice hissed and I knew immediately that it was Shadow. I opened my mouth to speak and a fist collided with my jaw. I raised a hand to it, rubbing my swollen jaw, wincing with pain. "What do you want from me?" I croaked and another fist came at me. This time, in my eye. I groaned, tasting blood from my swollen jaw and pain from the swelling in my black eye. "I want to know why you killed my family, and so I can kill you for revenge on what you did!" He whispered, his voice cracking.

It was an accident. I truly didn't mean to do it. It just sorta...happened. I returned home just the other day and I was yelled at, hit, abused, hurt. I got angry. I....I snapped. My green eyes turned crimson, I forgot who I was, and I killed. Killed everyone, everything I could find. Stabbing them with my daggers multiple times......laughing. I didn't mean to. It was an accident. It was Death's corruption of my pure soul that turned me this way. Turned me into a wretched demon. I didn't mean to kill them. It just happened, and I regret it. Of course the Lunar Rouges know about it, they know about everything.

The house also received damage. I....I blew it too pieces. I found a grenade.....and you can assume what happened from there. Shadow and Cato escaped togethr, the rest of my family were less fortunate. Shadow was still angry with me, and he had a group of buddies with him. The were trying to rid the world of the monsters.  Thankfully he didn't have any of his friends with him at this point of time.

"Why don't you believe me?" I inquired, I told him what happened multiple times.  "Please Shadow!" I pleaded and a fresh wave of pain came as Shadow dug the blade deeper. I gave up, shifted to a falcon and flew away from him. I had a gash in my throat, but I ignored it for now. I dove straight at him, shifting to a human and unsheathing my daggers before I hit the ground. I blocked his blade as he brought it down at an angle. and he realized that I was going to fight him. "Lookie here, little Kasu is gonna fight!" He chortled, "Bad desicion, demon!" He spat and as he lunged, but something grabbed him from behind and there was a sword held to the back of his head.

I looked at my savior and was met with a familiar gaze. "Akido!" I cried out in surprise. "When I noticed you were missing, I went to Naoku, he said you were raiding a store alone. I went scouting for you and when I heard fighting, I knew you were here." He explained. Shadow was backing up now and Akido grabbed him by the arm, slamming him against the concrete wall. He groaned in pain, collapsing to the ground. I didn't pity him and left him, walking to the hideout with Akido. "Can I call you, Key?" I asked for no reason and Akido shrugged. "Sure." He said. "I guess." It was a random question honestly.

When we got back to the shelter, I lied down beside Kinimoto and Azura. I was tired and I fell asleep quickly. "G' night."

A/N: Another chapter uploaded! For you shippers out there, Kini and Kurisu will be together for a while! Kurisu may eventually end up with someone else......perhaps. Anyway, Comment please. Trolls, regular people, don't care really. Okay, Peace and Pizza!
