Chapter 6 (Akido)

Akido groaned as he opened his left eye slowly. His other eye was black and swollen shut. He couldn't move any without feeling pain. Every limb on his body burned like fire. He didn't know what had happened. Akido had remained at the hideout just as Kurisu had instructed. He had almost fallen asleep when he heard a noise followed by some voices.

"Who's there?" Akidio called out and there was no response. "Show yourselves you cowards!" From the shadows, emerged four Night Rouges. The Night Rouges were weak in raiding battles. If there was a reason to fight, they could be a deadly enemy, but during a battle during raids, they didn't put up much of a fight. Akido could probably beat them, and he wasn't even the best fighter.

He bowed mockingly, "Here for the raiding party?" He inquired. "Its a pity you weren't invited to it...." He trailed off and one of the Night Rouges snorted. "Meaning?" Akido huffed. 'Curse me and my poor sense of humor.' "Meaning get the Hell out of here." The Night Rouge smirked and a young girl stepped forward. "I wish I could change what has happened,but after Doaly died, they said I was too young. I am sorry Akido, and to all the Lunar Rouges." She said and her punishment was swift.

"Adimar, you need to learn to keep your mouth shut!" One of the Night Rouges growled and grabbed her by the back of the neck. She stiffened and reached for her knife but she was too slow. The Rouge slammed her against a tree and she lost consciousness. There was blood pouring from her nose and mouth. Akido knew that Adimar was the Night Rouge deputy and that she rightfully was supposed to be leader, but she was so much younger than Kurisu, who was now thirteen. 'Wow.' Akido thought suddenly, 'I forgot that she had been with the Lunar rouges for five years...' Adimar was nine, and according to the Night Rouges, you had to be thirteen to be the leader. Adimar would never, ever let the Night Rouges turn do this, but the new leader was different.

Akido felt pity for the young girl but didn't voice it. "What is she talking about?" Akido growled and he felt a hand on his shoulder. He spun around quickly, the sight making him back up quickly. There were twenty-four rouges, all of them had a yin-yang symbol on there palms. "Oh no." He breathed and there was a terrible pain in his skull before he passed out.

Now he was awake and looking around at all of the Rouges. He understood why his head hurt, but all his other wounds he was unsure of. He got to his feet painfully and started towards the nearest Rouge but he suddenly lost his balance and tumbled to the ground, something dragging him back to where he originally was. He look at his wrists and noticed they were bound together with iron cuffs. "No!" He groaned. "Dia, cabhrú liom!"

A/N: Okay, so translation: "God, help me." Dia means God in Irish, and the Rouges will sometimes speak in Irish, I will always have translations in the A/N so if they speak in Irish, just skip right down to the bottom of the page and you will see what they are saying. The chapters will be split in two until ch. 9. I will be uploading songs in my lyric book and may upload two more chapters today of "Eclipse." I dunno....Peace and Pizza!
