It's that time again when most stores are having huge clothing sales and OfficeMax is stocking up for the next big event: BACK TO SCHOOL!.
Now, there is a lot of talk at the high schools about the newbies, a.k.a. the freshmen. It's a big transition going from a small school a bigger one where you probably won't even know quarter of your classmates. I remember how scared I was going into freshman year. I wasn't necessarily in the U.S. but it was still hard. I know that you are probably scared, too, even if you don't want to admit it. But, don't worry; I got your back hommie (don't say that in public). Once you get the hang of it, high school will be fun. I promise.
Now let me get one thing out of the way: Yes, it is true the upperclassmen won't like you at first. They may even call you names. Lucky for you, I wrote a little handbook of "do's and don'ts" to guide you in the right direction and to have a successful year. Take it from a senior in high school: Freshman year is difficult if you don't have a little help.
