It was finally lunchtime, and I couldn't wait to sit down and eat something. I'm more of a person who doesn't think of anything good to eat for breakfast until AFTER I'm already on the way to school, so I'm stuck craving anything to eat for three hours. Regardless, I manage to hold myself off until the time comes around.

I wish I could say the same to me in the lunch line. Every time you think you'll get your food in maybe thirty seconds, about five or six groups of ten just cut through the whole line as if they owned the place. It forces me to rely on my Robotics and Honeywedd to just cut straight through the line myself.

But since today wasn't a meet day, I have to wait the entire line out, which is often dreadful. I opened the door to the cafeteria, and it was as loud as ever. It's the main place you want to go if  you want to drive yourself insane. I headed towards the line and came across Troy and Cody, my friend I've had for years now. Cody looked in my direction and turned to face me as I was walking towards them.

"Welcome to the waiting game!" Cody said facetiously. "I'll be your guide.

"Oh, well thank you so much! I'll have a nice order of food, please." I replied, playing along with his antics. We all laughed, knowing that wouldn't be happening for at least seven minutes.

"So, how's XB going? Is it done yet?" I  asked Troy, who was shooting an imaginary bow.

"Huh? Haven't you been reading it? Its first draft is already done, and I've been proofreading it for a month now." Troy sighed.

"Oh, you did? Oops, sorry," I said. "I've been drawing a lot, so I hardly go onto Microrough Word now. Plus, it doesn't help that Mr. Wang's class is getting pretty tedious. Which reminds me... Where were you guys? I knew Troy said he wouldn't be here ahead of time, but what about you, Cody?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you guys!" Cody exclaimed. "My sister's gonna be going to this school tomorrow! We were signing her in today so she can get her ID and stuff like that."

"Oh, oka--what WHAT?" I shouted. "You have a sister???"

"You never told us that!" Troy added. "...is she hot?"

"You're starting to sound like Darien Sparks, y'know," I groaned, punching Tory in the other arm, regardless of him being sore.

"Alright, I deserved that," Troy said sharply. "But the topic still stands. You have a sister? How come she hasn't been here before? how come we haven't SEEN her before?"

"Well, she's not an average student like us..." Cody trailed off. "...Actually, compared to us, we'd be normal."

"Oh, thanks." Troy muttered. We had finally gotten to the front of the line.

"Hey, hey, I didn't leave myself out of it. Don't feel so offended," he responded to Troy's remark. "Anyway, she likes to hack things. Many things. She got really close to hacking the government systems."

"Wow! She must take her craft seriously!" I gasped.

Cody nodded. "She definitely does. In fact, she takes it so seriously that she's hacked her school district...which is actually why she doesn't go there anymore. They expelled her for doing it."

"Huh," Troy said flatly. "At least she'd make a good IT person." We all laughed again. The lunch aid in front of the line finally let us go inside the food hall to get our lunches. I grabbed pizza, even though I can't really explain why, an apple, which I also can't explain why besides it being healthy, and a milk. My friends actually like to mix it up, and I try to do that myself, but it never works in the long run. Troy got a Hamburger, and Cody got a ham and cheese wrap. We all got in the same line behind one another.
