I hate WattPad sometimes... 😜

"Calum? Luke?" My mother asks next morning just before my brother and I are ready to head out for school. We both hum in response, looking towards the woman who had an anxious look on her face. She continues, "Your dad is coming to talk to you later today. He said he has some important news for you two."

"Oh..." Is all that comes out of my mouth. Calum elbows my side sharply causing me to rephrase it, "I mean, oh that's good."

She bites her lip as it came out more as a question than a statement, then shooing us away for school with a sigh, reminding us to be good at school. Calum and my's walk is awkward at first, both our minds in different places. It sounded horrible, but I didn't want to be my father. Every time he spoke to us, it always was a lecture about how disappointed he was about Calum and I being different form the rest. We couldn't help it that we were gay.

"I guess I'll see you after school," Cal states as we reach the doors of the school. I nod silently, us parting ways to our classes.

I immediately spot Michael right away, all the girls surrounding him. He didn't look interested at all as they all yapped about God knows what, but once he sees me, his eyes light up, his lips growing into a wide smile. I couldn't help it, my own face lighting up at the sight of the happy boy. He nods to an empty seat next to him which I gladly take.

If I were you, I'd get over whoever it is, fast

Calum's words ring through my head as we just stare at each other, absorbing everything in. I noticed that his face was starting to bruise slightly making me cringe at the event form yesterday. Taking a glance around the school I see Damon and his posse giving Michael and I death glares. I only shake it off looking to Michael.

"So, how was your night?" I ask then face palming at how weird that sounded coming out of my mouth; it sounded better in my head. The skunk haired boy only chuckles, his eyes wrinkling in an adorable way. Stop it, Luke.

"It was okay. You?" He asks raising an eyebrow.

"Same ole, same ole," I respond boredly, leaning back into my seat. After a few minuets, the first bell rings signaling for students to get to their classes. With a groan I head to my locker, separating ways from Michael, but I'd see him in after lunch period at least.

As I grab my books for class, I'm suddenly shoved into my locker, my face bashing into the hard metal. A sinister laugh rings through the hall, "Aw didn't see you there, Pretty Boy."

"Fuck you, Damon," I spat causing him to only tut at me.

"Oh wouldn't you love that. Well, it's too bad I'm not a fag. Anyways, nice talk Hemmings," the boy sneered, only getting a roll of my eyes in response. I grumble to myself as I rush to my class, only seconds remaining.

Classes go by quickly, surprisingly, and I find myself excited for lunch to come. I told myself that it was for the food, but deep down I knew it was to see Michael again. Sadly, I was falling and I needed someone to catch me before this ends badly.

I walk into the cafeteria in search of the certain dyed haired boy to see him in the corner by himself, headphones in and eyes on his phone. I grab a tray before sitting next to him on the floor causing him to look up at me in surprise.

"Don't look so shocked," I tell him jokingly, relaxing a bit as he smiled back.

"Didn't think you would want sit with me," he admits, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck as he pulls him headphones out of his ears.

"Why not?" I ask, starting to frown. I didn't want him to think I didn't want to hang with him anymore when it was completely the opposite.

"Well what happened yesterday and the lack of talking this morning," he explains knitting his eyebrows together.
