Preference 4 ~ Telling Your Parents - Cashton

Ashton Irwin:

It's been 2 weeks since Ashton and I had our decussion and we finally decided it's time to tell them I'm pregnant. I'm kinda scared but I can't wait to get it over with so Ashton is coming over for dinner tonight. Ashton has done a great job calming me. He keeps telling me that if my parents take my pregnancy bad that he'll be there for me.

I was sitting on the couch with my dad watching TV when the doorbell rang. I got up and quickly answered it to see Ashton's smiling face I smiled and let him in. He hugged me and kissed my cheek.

While we were eating I started getting more and more nervous. Ashton noticed and put his hand on my thigh rubbing up and down trying to calm me. At the end of dinner I finally got the courage to speak up. "Mom, dad I have something to tell you please down be mad." "(Y/N) what is it?" my dad asked my mom nodded in agreement. "I'm pregnant" I said sighing as it let it out.

I looked at my mom and dad they were looking at each other then they both turned to me. "It's not the ideal situation but your 17 and as long as Ashton is there for you we'll be there too." "Thanks for understanding mom and dad. Ashton is going to be here for me." "All the time I'm not going to let her raise this baby on her own" Ashton said taking my hand in his.

Calum Hood

A week after we had dinner Calum and I decided to get up the courage to tell my parents. I am scared to death what if they want nothing to do with me and the baby. I told Calum for his own safety that he should stay at his house.

I was talking to Calum on the phone trying not to be so nervous.

Calum: Baby are you sure you don't want me to be there when you tell your parents?

Me: Cal I just don't want them to hurt you. I'll talk to you later. I'm going to tell them now. Have your phone by you so I can call if something goes bad.

Calum: Okay baby call me right after.

Me: Okay I will

I hang up the phone and went downstairs when my mom and dad were sitting watching TV. I walked into the room "Mom, dad I need to talk to you about something." My dad shut off the TV and they both looked at me. My mom said "What's wrong sweetheart?" I took a deep breath "I'm pregnant with Calum's baby." My dad stood up "What? I want you to leave and I don't want you back until you get rid of that thing." I ran out of the house balling my eyes out.
