"Damn you look good" Mark said for the 5th time since we've been together

"thanks mark plus you said casual but tell me something about you" i said smiling

"well im 28 years old. Im single. I'm a promotor. My full name is Mark Troy Denver. My last relationship was probably around 2 years ago"

"what happened?" i asked

"She was trying to settle down and i wasnt. I was immature and didnt take her serious" he shrugged

"mmph"

he smirked "what?"

"nothing. i just dont want to waste my time. i hope you dont think this is a fuck and duck type thing" I said straight to the point. He stared at me for a while before chuckling

"nahh ma.. i aint saying i wasnt hoping to end this night with pleasure but its cool ma"

"so tell me about you" he said grabbing my hand

"well my name is hazel. Im 22 actually, I have a older brother and sister that live in California thats on my dad's side. I dont work and My last relationship was about 7 months ago"

"damn you young as hell" he said leaning back

"nah you old as hell" i said smiling

"so why are you single ma"

"well I basically wasted 5 years of my life for nothing. He cheated, became angry so i had to cut him off"

"just like that? that easy?"

"yeaa he was hard to deal with after a while"

"Well im glad you over him so you can be with a real nigga"

" hpmm. so what made you become a promoter?" i asked

"easy money i guess and i kinda like the club life.. it wasnt like i had someone to go home to at night so why not have some fun"

"omg mark we are so different.. I dont care for the clubs... i would rather a small kickback or house party. I don't really wanna be in a building smelling like sex, weed and Sweaty people all night"

"well man opposites attract" he said biting his lip

The waiter came bringing back our drinks and we ordered our food.

"so why dont you work? what you was messing with a drug dealer or something?" he asked

"hell nah.. thats one thing i dont do.. Im not bout' that Mob wives life. My parents have alot of money so im set for life"

"Any kids?" he asked

"no sir you?"

"nahh. and im glad you dont too. I would hate to have to deal with ya baby daddy" he said and we both laughed

"But for real hazel you seem like cool people. i can tell you being kind if closed off but im willing to get to know you forreal"

i blushed "thanks Mark and i cant lie. You are the first person that I've met that had me speechless, when i first sae you"

"baby i plan on leaving you speechless alot" he said winking
