Chapter 3

*Hailey's POV*

It was currently raining, so Danny and I decided to have some fun and play in the mud. I slathered mud all over Danny, and he did the same to me. We started for a few short moments, and before I realize it, Danny's soft pink lips were pressed up against mine, and I kissed him back. It was perfect. I think I might be in love.

After awhile, we pulled apart. He smiled, and looked into my carmel brown eyes with his bright blue eyes. He looked down, and messed around with his fingers for a moment before breaking the comfortable silence.

"I know we just met and all, but honestly, I think I might be in love with you. You're just so perfect, and I want to know... if, maybe... you would like to go out sometime?"

I smiled. That was the sweetest thing anyone has ever said to me. "You mean like a date?"

He giggled, and bit his lip, looking down at his black converse. "Yeah, like a date"

My smile grew even bigger. "I would love to go on a date with you"

*Danny's POV*

"I would love to go on a date with you" she spoke, and I instantly got butterflies in my stomach. I was going to get to go on a date with the girl of my dreams! This was going to be the best date EVER!

*Hailey's POV*

Danny starts to walk to the front door, and I soon follow. As we approach the door, I realize that I didn't bring any extra clothes, and the ones I'm wearing are all muddy from playing in the mud.

"Shit..." I whisper.

"What's the matter?' Danny asks, concerned.

"Uhm, I just, don't want to get your house all muddy with my clothes..." I speak, embarrassed.

"Do you wanna borrow some of my clothes?" he questions.

"Are you sure?" I questionably reply.

"Yeah, it's no problem" He speaks, a small smile on his face.

"Um, okay" I hesitantly say, and mimic his small smile.

We walk inside, and I immediately take off my shoes and set them outside, not wanting to get his clean floor all dirty. He walks around the corner into a room, while I wait by the entrance. A few short moments later, he returns holding a black 'Sleeping With Sirens' shirt and some plain grey sweat pants.

"Are these good?" he asks.

I laugh a little, "Perfect, thank you"

He hands me the outfit, and I walk into the bathroom, quickly changing and waking back out. Once Danny sees my appearance, he immediately awes.

"Awe! You look so adorable in my clothes!" he shrieks.

I laugh, "So, what do you wanna do?"

He starts to reply, before the door is swung open, revealing Maddie and Paul's faces.

*Paul's POV*

After the incident at Walgreens, I decide to take Maddie back to mine and Danny's house.

As we walk up the door, I realize that the door is already unlocked. I open it, leading Maddie inside. I immediately spot Danny and Hailey in the living room in mid conversation before looking in our direction.

"Hello" I awkwardly say, earning laughter from everyone.

"We were just about to watch a movie, care to join us?" Danny asks, invitingly.

"OH MY GOD YES WHAT MOVIE?!" Maddie screams.

"Uh, we haven't decided yet. Do you wanna pick?" Hailey questions.

"DUH!" Maddie yells, running over to the variety of movies to choose from. She instantly grabs one, revealing it to the rest of us.

"FINAL DESTINATIOOOON! Four" She yells again, extending the last few letters.

We put the movie in the DVD player and begin to watch.

A few minutes into the movie, Hailey bursts into laughter, earning a shocked expression from the rest of us.

"What the fuck is so funny?" Maddie asks.

*Hailey's POV*

After a few minutes into the movie, I burst out laughing.

"What the fuck is so funny?' Maddie questions, annoyed.

I catch my breath, before wiping my tears away, and beginning to explain.

"Okay, so the lady was all like 'have you all lost your mind?' and then a car came, and hit her head off of her body, making her literally lose her mind!" I say, bursting our laughing again. I hear another laugh coming from next to me. I turn and look, and Danny is cracking up laughing, along with me, while Maddie and Paul are just sitting there, confused.

"I don't get how that's so funny" Maddie says.

"Same" Paul agrees.

"I dunno, it's just really god damn funny" Danny says, making me smile, before continuing our movie night.
