Halloween

I got out of my bed and got ready. Ever since my birthday I decided to change how I dress. Today is Halloween and we are having a pep rally. The cheerleaders have to wear costumes. So I got dressed in my Jasmine costume. There was a knock at my door. I opened it up, in came the girls Katalina, Hota, and Quan. Kayla is in New York. Hey girls! I said excitedly. Hey Arie. They all said. Mm we look cute. I said as we all looked in the mirror. We took a picture of us. (In mm, from left to right, Katalina, Aaleeyah, Hota, and Quan). Y'all ready to go? I asked them as I grabbed my keys. Girl we been ready we were just waiting on you. Quan said as she grabbed a apple and a Gatorade from my fridge. Ok just help yourself. I said to Quan being sarcastic. Thanks because I was going to anyway. Quan said. We hopped in my car and drove off.

We parked in my usual parking spot and got. As we walked into school, it was like all eyes were on us. Lucas came up to me and grabbed my hand. Hey bae Lucas said walking up to me. Hey lu. I replied back. August walked up. Hey big head! He said hitting the back of my head. Hey Tele tubby. I replied laughing. You look good in costume best friend. He said to me. Thanks big head! I replied hugging him. Aye that's my thing for you, you always trying to be me. He said punching my arm. Ouch!! That lowkey hurt! I said kicking him. I'm a get you for that! He said to me. I started running down the hall. You can run I'm a get you big head! He said running after me. I hid behind a trash can and when he walked past me I ran and jumped on his back and we both fell. We busted out laughing. You are a trip little girl. He said trying to catch his breath as he laughed. He jumped up and reached his arm up to help me up. Look who's talking. I said shoving him into a locker. Walk with me to my locker, Por favor! I asked with a puppy dog face. Yea sure. He said brushing against my shoulder. Hey you tryna go to this party with me? He asked as I unlocked my locker. Ahh when and where? Tomorrow and I'll take you do don't worry about it. He said as I shut my locker and he held my books. I guess as long as my best friend is going. I said. Da if I'm asking you to go then I'm going. August said. Bruh I'm not talking about you. I'm talking about K. I said laughing. My phone vibrated so I took it out my bag and turned it on. It was from Kayla. I opened it. It read:

Me: Alright coming now.

August I have to go Kayla needs me. See you later. I said as I walked towards the bathroom.
I walked in the bathroom to see no one in there. I looked under the stalls. As I walked towards the last stalls I heard crying and I saw someone sitting on the ground inside a bathroom stall. K! Is that you. I asked. I saw the person rise up. The stall door unlocked. Out came a crying Kayla. Aww babes what happened?! I said pulling her into a tight hug. Justin. She replied. Me and Justin got into an argument and I had said to him that he acts like he doesn't love me sometimes. He replied back that he doesn't. I looked at him weirdly and he told me that the only reason he was dating me was because he wanted to make you jealous. He basically said he never loved me it was you all along. She said as he cries became more heavy. Kayla before you guys started dating he asked me out and I denied him. A week later he asked you out and y'all started dating. She let loose from my arms and just stared at me. Kayla clothes would come in and I wouldn't know who they were from. Quan always said she thought it was him sending me the clothes. I'm so sorry K. I said as I went to hug her she didn't hug back. Kayla what's wrong now? I asked her.
Leave-e, I'm done with both of you guys! You could have told me this! Ugh I never want to talk to you or Justin! She said to me. I saw the seriousness in her eyes. I decided to just leave. Maybe I should have told her from the beginning?
