Cory stared in a daze as he watched his family enjoyed his little sisters and cousins birthday party. He haven't heard back from Amber yet. He tried to act like it wasn't bothering him but it was.

It's like Amber wasn't trying to fight for his love. Is he going through the same thing he went through with Tam-Tam? Was Amber just using him? He sighed heavily as he took his cell phone to try to call her again.

It went straight to voicemail. Fuck it, he not trying no more. He doesn't even know how she doing or how she was feeling.

"You okay?" Naenae came and sat by him.

"Yeah, I'm going to be." Cory said.

"Just give her sometime. She will come around." Naenae said.

"Ma I don't even know how she doing. It's like she won't answer my calls or anything." Cory shook his head.

That's one thing he hated about the whole thing. If Sam minded her business, this shit never would have happen. Now she back in Florida living her life, and Cory all alone in Jay house. What's the point in building a house with Amber and she not there with him anymore?

"You need to just wait on her, if it meant to be, she will come around, if it's not then you have your answer. Don't stay moping around, it's not good." Nae said and walked away.

Cory knew his mom was right, so he would just leave it and her alone.

Keenan walked over to him.

"I know where your girl at." He said.

"How you know?" Cory face brighten up.

"Her and Danny talk duh." Keenan said.

Kelsey walked over to Keenan.

"Up."

Keenan picked her up.

"You don't want to play with the other kids?" He asked her.

She shook her head no.

"Kel want da da da da." She said and place her head on his shoulder and yawn.

"Kel want to sleep." Keenan laughed.

"Damn you change a lot." Cory said to Keenan.

"What you mean?" Keenan asked him.

"You smile more, laugh more, talk more. It's like you happy nigga." Cory said.

"I have a reason to do that now." Keenan said.

Danny looked over him, he winked at her and she blushed.

"So you want your girl or not?" Keenan asked him.

"Nah she walked out on me , if she want to come back, she know where I'm at." Cory said.

"Well say no more, lil nigga." Keenan said.

"It's time to sing happy birthday." Sky yelled to the crowd.

Cory and the others gathered around as they sing happy birthday to his sisters and cousin. No their birthday is not in the same day, but it is in the same month. No sense in doing it separate.

"Cake." K'Mar and K'Von said at the same time.

The crowd laughed.

Asia and Cy was just eating their looking around ready for their piece.

After everything was over people went home, kids went to sleep, and the meeting start.

"So as we know now, KD has a hit out on him." Cory said.

"Why?" Sky and Kenny asked.

"He raped an underage girl." Cory said.

"Are fucking serious right now Kendrick!" Kenny yelled.

Nobody said nothing.

"Do you hear me talking to you!" Kenny yelled again.

KD just looked down.

"What the fuck is wrong with you man? I raised you better then that. What are you sick in the fucking head?"

"Kenny-" Sky started, but Kenny cut her off.

"Not now Sky." He said.

Sky stayed quiet. Kenny stood up and got in KD face.

"You know I got a good ass mind, to call the fucking police on you, and i don't even like them muthafuckas. I'm so disappointed in you. You going to let what happen to you when you was baby, determine your future? Huh? Why the fuck do I have to have a fuck up son?" Kenny yelled as he paced back and forth.

"Kenny you going to far." Sky said.

"Sky what the fuck did I said!? I got this okay?" Kenny glared at Sky.

"No Kenny, no you don't. You can't blame KD for his actions. It's not his fault. What happen to him when he was baby is the cause of this, you know when something happen to kids when they younger they always grow up with something wrong with them." Sky said walking up to Kenny and KD.

KD stood there glaring at his dad, like he wanted to hit him.

"That doesn't matter Sky. This nigga is a grown ass man, he responsible for his action. I'm getting too old for this foolish. Not only do I have to look out for this fool now, we need to watch our backs too. Shit unfuckingbelievable man." Kenny said and walked away.

Sky followed him.

All eyes went to KD.

"So what we going to do?" He said like it wasn't no big deal.

Keenan shook his head.

"You foul man. You have one time look at my daughter or fiancé in a weird ass way, and that's your ass. I won't do like Cory did and beat your ass, I'm going to kill you." Keenan said and walked away. Angie Danny followed him.

Now leaving Kasey, Cory, Lil C and Naenae in the room with KD.

"All I know is, you my brother and I love you too the moon and back, but this some sick ass shit. You are so much better then that KD." Kasey said and walked away.

"Loss for words nephew." Lil C said.

"Just pray about, God will see you through it. Your family will come around. We all make mistake, your mistake just bigger then anything right now." Naenae and walked away.

Now leaving Cory and KD alone. They both stared each other down.

"Boy I tell you, you have your whole family mad at you. How do you feel?" Cory asked him.

"Shut up." KD growled out.

"Nah nigga what you not about to do, is come at me wrong, all the shit we done been through, I still want to beat your ass for what you did to Amber." Cory said standing up.

KD pulled a gun out. He fired it at Cory. The bullet hit Cory in the stomach.

"I said shut up!!!!" He yelled.
