Chapter 1

Okay, HI. I'm rewriting this story, hopefully it's better. I have more of a plan now. Have a great day <3

Clarke

Clarke slammed her car door, the sound echoing throughout the parking lot. She glanced at her watch, she had all of four minutes to pick up her schedule and get to class on time.

"Not freakn possible." She mumbled to herself as she sped walk towards the front doors.

When Clarke entered the building there was barely any kids. It was the second week of school for these kids, the only people that were in the hall were the kids who got there late like her and kids who were probably going to ditch class.

She whizzed right into the office and to the front the desk, "Hi I'm Clarke Griffin, I'm here to pickup my class schedule." 

The secretary looked a bit startled, "Oh hello Ms. Griffin, I'll get your schedule for you. "

The woman shuffles through some papers on her desk and pulls it out handing it to Clarke, "Here you go dear, welcome to Skai High School."   

Clarke gives her a small smile and thanks her. She studied her schedule while she walked down the hallway to her first class.

She forgot to look up and ran into someone, the next thing she knows her shirt and schedule are soaked with what smells like iced coffee.

"Oh god! Sorry! I'm such an idiot Oh my god, I am so sorry!" The boy says quickly and panicky.

"No, it's fine I swear." Clarke reassured him.

"No it's not, I wish there was something I could do. God I'm such an idiot." The boy says still kind of panicking.

"It was my fault I wasn't watching where I was going, plus I have an extra shirt. It's okay." Clarke keeps reassuring him.

"Sorry, um... what's your name?" The boy asks.

"Oh, I'm Clarke. I just got transferred to here."  Clarke explains.

"Well welcome Clarke, I'm Finn." Finn gives her a smile.

"It was nice meeting you, Finn. Now if you excuse me I have about 45 seconds to try and get to class on time." Clarke smiled at him back and started back down towards the hall.

"Bye Clarke!" Finn called after her. 

Clarke turned her head around and gave him a little wave.

The bell rang when she quickly reached the already open science class door.

Clarke scanned the classroom and plopped herself in the back of the classroom at any empty table.

"Alright," A voice called from the front of the room, "I have two announcements!"

"Who's that girl?" A boy from across the room called out pointing at Clarke.

"I'm getting to that Jasper, just calm down. First of all today we are starting partner labs, and second 'that girl'," the teacher said directing his attention towards her, "That's Clarke, she's our new student."

Her classmates all looked at her, and she shrunk a little in her chair. 

"Now that is done we'll pick partners, uh Raven you can pick first." He said.

Raven stood up in front the class. Almost the entire class was begging her to pick them. Clarke figured either she was really smart, or really popular. 

"Uh," Raved glanced around, "New girl, want to be my partner?" 

It didn't really sound like a question, more of a command really. 

"Uh yeah sure." Clarke said moving her stuff to Raven's table.

Raven smiles at her, "So new girl what with the stain on your shirt?"

"A guy names Finn spilled is his iced coffee on me, but I'll change after class." Clarke explained.

"Did this um Finn guy have dark brown hair, and possibly wearing a beanie?" Raven asked her.

"Uh yeah, why?" Clarke assumed Raven new this guy.

"That's my ex-boyfriend. Sorry I know it's totally random I'm telling you this. I was just wondering that's all." Raven says waving it off.

"Oh, can I ask why it ended?" Clarke asks carefully.

"Finn's probably my best friend, I had a rough childhood and he was always there for me. We dated for about two years, but he didn't love me that way anymore. But he's still like my best friend, which sounds kind of strange, but it's true." Raven explains.

"I don't think it's strange, I think it's sweet." Clarke tells her.

"Thanks. Hey do you want to hang out with me and some of my friends? There kind of different, in a good way I think, but I think you might like them. I mean if you like me." Ravens says half-smiling.

Clarke laughs a little, "I've only known you for about five minutes, but I like you. So I wouldn't mind meeting your friends."

"Cool, now not to brag but I am one of the best science students. I mean one of my friends you'll meet is the science master, but he's not in this class. So being second best, we have to be the best lab partners in here, okay?"

Clarke decided that kids wanted to be partner because she was smart, all the evidence pointed to it.

Yay! First chapter :) The first few chapters will be slow, so don't give up on the story! I have such a big plan for this story, I hope you like it so far.
