Authors notes: this takes place back at the academy.
Simmons walks into Chem lab and heads towards her seat next to Fitz, since they are always partners. When she gets close she sees another girl in her seat arguing with Fitz. She walks over and taps the girl on the shoulder "that's my seat." Fitz laughs, "I tried telling her that Jem." The girl looks confused "there aren't specified partners in here, we are aloud to switch things up." Fitz and Simmons look at each other then in unison say "We always sit together, and work together." The girl goes slightly red, "well what if I wanted to work with Fitz?" Simmons laughs "To bad he's my partner. Now get out of my seat, right now!" She says growing jealous that another girl would want Fitz. Fitz smiles as Simmons grows jealous. The girls sighs and gets up moving seats. Simmons smiles and takes her seat next to Fitz.
After Chem lab Fitzsimmons are walking to Fitz dorm. "I can't believe that girl today, everyone knows that we always work together." Simmons says still frustrated. Fitz laughed, "Yea it was weird, almost as if..." "She had a crush on you" Simmons says finishing his sentence. Oh how she loved how close they had grown since the first time they had partnered for a project. Fitz laughs "that's actually kinda cool though" "No it's not!" Jemma responds much to quickly. Fitz looks at her slightly confused "I mean why would you think that Fitz?" Jemma asks backtracking. Fitz gives her a sly grin, "I like seeing you jealous." They get to his dorm and walk in "Dr. Who or Sherlock." Simmons smiles, "Dr. Who. But what do you mean? Me, jealous? No, why would I be?" She asks her voice raising an octave higher than normal.
"Jemma I like you, and correct me if I'm wrong but you like me too." Jemma blushes "Maybe." "Come on Jems I know you almost as well as I know myself, and you like me just as much as I like you" Simmons smiles and places her hand on his cheek "Do you wanna kiss me as much as I wanna kiss you?" She whispers. Fitz smiles, "I'm surprised someone as smart as you would even have to ask" Fitz leans in and kisses Simmons, "Jemma I love you." "I love you too Leo. Now let's watch some Dr. Who" Leo smiles, "And after maybe some Sherlock."
