Recap:
I walked into the school and grabbed my books. I am not very proud to announce that I have no friends, I know, my life's sad.
As soon as the bell rings I know today is going to an another full of boringness.

Chapter II: Hey, Hey! My Life Is Getting Less Boring!
Rénee's POV:
Finally! I can go home. I know I'm supposed to be a nerd and love school and all but honestly, I'm just praying that I would be sick on a weekday. But does that ever happen? No. I always get sick on the weekends!
I ran to the school's parking lot and found my brother standing against his car.
''Hurry up Rénee! I don't have all day!'' he snapped.
''You don't have to be a jerk about it!'' I pouted as I got into the car.
The drive home was awkward, since he kept glaring at me. Probably because I accidentally dropped Melaine's books this morning and we all know family comes first but to Courtland, his girlfriend comes first and he did not look happy. Courtland and his friends were all emo who dressed the same style, liked the same type of music, had a strong hate for the color pink and they get wasted every Friday night.
I was looking out the windows, seeing the sight of a small orange house with white fences, a flower garden and a wooden swing, I knew I was home.
I didn't know why my brother and I weren't close anymore. We used to sat in his bedroom playing with his toys, reading comics and watching TV. We used to raced each other to the couch and started fighting for the TV remote. We still do but it only lasted 5 seconds. I grabbed the remote but he stood up and snatched it from me. And his face was blank, like he did not want to deal with me and all. I didn't know what was wrong. First I thought it was because Mom and Dad were treating my better but as I observe them, they were treating HIM better. So I ended up clueless. I guessed when you're 17 you're too cool to play with your younger sister now.
I grabbed my bag and ran into the house, on my way down, I said a quick ''Bye!'' to Courtland but his expression kept still. Oh God!
As I entered the house, I saw a note on the fridge.
''Honey, my and your father had to leave early for a business trip so we went be back until next week. We are so sorry and we'll be back as soon as possible.
Love you,
Mom''
Oh okay, so one week without my parents home. Did I mention that we have Spring break next week too? So that means 168 hours of me staying inside my house. Wicked!
I ran upstairs to my bedroom and took out my lucky charm necklace. It was beautiful. My parents told me I had it since birth and I do not know why. It had a beautiful pink diamond attached to it. The diamond was inside a circle, right in the middle, but there was a big gap around it before meeting the circle, I wondered what was that space for, but I never really have my answer. Once I went to a jewelery store and asked the salesman, he told me the spaces were for other diamonds to be placed in, he also offered my to buy some to put in my necklace but I refused to. I don't wear my necklace outside because I did not want to look like a snobby rich kid even though my family was just a little bit more than enough.
