Pills. Even that word alone sent shivers up and down your spine, you had never been able to swallow the devilish little things (see what i did there! :D). Your best friends had always supported you in every thing you did but they didn't know about your fear of pills. Liam was the closest to you, he took care of you when you were sad or sick.
A couple of days before, you had been running along the sidewalk in the rain desperately trying to get to the flat you shared with the boys. It took you roughly 10 minutes to get to the flat, by the time you walked through the door you were soaked to the skin.
"Guys I'm home!!" You shouted at the boys.
"(Y/N) !!!!!!!!" The boys all yelled at once and thundered down the stairs. They made the noise like a stampede of elephants were about to attack you at the bottom of the stairs!!! The boys didn't care that you were soaked they still wanted to hug you. The boys being boys all tackled you in giant bear hugs at the same time, so you are left standing there being suffocated by 5 over hyper, strong, teenagers.
"G...g....guys......I..I.....c...can't......b..br.....breath! You say gasping for oxygen. The boys quickly let go of you and let you breath in air.
"Sorry (Y/N)" They course.
That happened a couple of days ago, your lying in bed with a rising fever, pounding head, blocked nose and sore throat. Liam had stayed at your side the whole time have been sick. Louis had asked you a few time if you would take pills but you just said that it would pass over and you would be fine. Liam and Niall have started getting suspicious of you.
It was about 2pm and you went downstairs to get a glass of water. You thought the boys were out at rehearsals but you thought wrong, terribly wrong. They were all sitting at the island in the kitchen. As if they were waiting for you to come down. Once you got your glass of water you made your way towards the door but Harry stood right in the middle smirking down at you. You knew they were going to try and make you take pain killers and other pills.
You slowly walked backwards only to bump into Louis who was also smirking down at you. At your left Niall was closing in and to your right Zayn was advancing on you as well, Harry had moved from the doorway and had now completed a circle around you.
"Uh guys what are you doing?" You ask nervously to the lads. Liam pushes past Niall and Harry and stood with you in the middle of the circle.
"OK (Y/N) you are going to take this pill to make you better OK?" Liam states.
"Em.. I don't need that pill I just need this water and some rest, yes?" You ask trying to avoid the subject of taking pills.
"No (Y/N) you must take this pill. We will stand here all day till you do. Oh God no their going to make me take it, no, no, No, No!!!!!!!
Right (Y/N), think fast what can i do to get out of this situation? Em....Em.... Oh drop the glass and run!!! That could be a good plan but then I'm making the situation worse 'cause then they will ask more questions.
No I'm to confused!!!
At your last thought you drop the glass your carrying and shove past Liam, Niall and Harry, all three of the lads try to catch your wrist or arm but your to quick for them and make it out the kitchen and bolt up the stairs into your own bedroom and lock the door. You jog to your bed out of breath from running up the stairs, after all you are still really sick. You collapse onto your bed and ball your eyes out.
About half an hour later the lads are all still at your door trying to get you to answer it but you just yell at them to leave you alone. But after a while they go quiet, no noise was coming from them. You slowly get up and unlock the door to see if the lads have left you alone or just given up. As you slowly open up the door trying to peek out but you can't see anybody outside your door so you become curious about where the boys have gone to. As you stand in your doorway you see Liam walking up the stairs with a glass of water and two pills in his other hand. You slowly back away from the door and try and close it but Liam stops you with his foot.
"(Y/N) can I please just talk to you." Liam says looking you in the eye and you see in his eyes that he just wants to help you.
"Fine" You say in defeat.
You open the door wider so Liam can walk in, once he is in your room you close the door and lock it again.
"(Y/N) can you please explain why you ran out of the kitchen when we asked you to take the pills?" Liam questioned.
"Em...Uh...I'm... I'm scared of taking pills." You say ashamed.
"(Y/N) why have you never told me before?" Liam questioned again.
" I was to scared to tell you because I thought you would laugh at me for my stupid fear." You whisper to Liam.
"(Y/N) I would never laugh at you, I mean look at me I have a fear of spoons!" Liam said smiling at you.
"OK well i suppose since I talk to you it dosen't sound to bad to take the pills and they will help me get better so I could maybe take one just now and then take the other one in front of Niall, Louis, Harry and Zayn to show them I can swallow pills." You smile at Liam once you finished your little speech. Liam helps you up off your bed and stands in front of you, he hands you the glass of water and a pill.
"Remember to put the pill right at the back of your mouth, it will make it easier to swallow" Liam tells you encouragingly.
You place the small pill at the back of your mouth and as soon as it touches your tongue, the glass in your hand is up at your mouth and you gulp down the water. Gone. The pill is gone!!!
" Well that wasn't so bad after all!" You say happily.
Liam smiles at you and you both make your way down the stairs into the living room where the rest of the boys are waiting.
"(Y/N) we didn't mean to scare you or pressure you into doing anything, sorry (Y/N). Zayn said looking you in the eye for your forgiveness. You just simple smile at him and soon everyone in the room is smiling.
" OK I will take the last of the pills" You nervously state. All the boys are sitting on the sofa staring at you intently. You take the pill lightning fast and swallow them down triumphant. The lads all give you a hug individually, Liam is last to hug you, you stay hugging each other for longer than with the other boys. When you finally pull apart Liam gently kisses you on the cheek which in turn causes you to blush a crimson red colour.
