Sorry for the wait!!!

The story might be confusing and the quotes don't really seem to fit the chapters, but I promise that everything will slowly make sense as the story unravels.

I Apologize for the long wait again!

-------------------

There are many things I hate in this world. Poverty, corruption, jocks, cheerleaders, tight clothes, being short, homework, nightmares, migraines, my sorry excuse of eyesight, school, but there's one thing that I absolutely despise. Waking up early and it doesn't help when your step-brother is freaking suffocating you in his attempt to wake you up.

"Get off you damn, fat pig! I can't breathe!" I screamed, or tried to considering the lack of oxygen in my lungs, at the grown-ass man who was using me as a freaking pillow.

"Nope. You're warm and soft." Mumbled Mason as he snuggled into my chest.

"What are you? 5?" I sighed.

"Dude get up. We have practice in 20 minutes." Said Carter as he shoved Mason off of me.

"If you hadn't skipped the last practice, you would know that practice today was canceled." Said Mason as he stood up from the floor and fixed his shirt.

"I'll just leave you guys to argue." I said as I got up from the bed and went to the kitchen. After being fully awakened by their screams, I started craving some chocolate.

"Where are dad and Coralline?" I asked Carter who was walking behind me. I guess they had finished their arguing.

"They're on a business trip for a month." He said as he took this chance to walk beside me.

After breakfast, if you can even call eating an entire Nutella jar breakfast, I headed upstairs. Mason and Carter left in a hurry when I was halfway through the jar. So I was pretty much all alone. I decided to use this chance to read further into that journal.

April 25  1840

It's been 12 days since my last entry. Things have been getting more and more confusing lately. The dreams have become more frequent, I faint without a reason, I hear this sweet voice calling out to me, and lately I've been seeing those weird things that don't really seem to be from this world.

I don't know. Maybe I'm going insane. But for some reason, I can't stop believing that everything is real and it's happening for a reason.

A few days ago I started doing some reaserch on Michael.

In the New Testament Michael leads God's armies against Satan's forces in the Book of Revelation, where during the war in heaven he defeats Satan.

Christian sanctuaries to Michael appeared in the 4th century, when he was first seen as a healing angel, and then over time as a protector and the leader of the army of God against the forces of evil.

There are many other things as well, but what doesn't seem to be making any sense is why was I the only one who knew that the statue was of Michael?  And how did the statue get there in the first place? I understand that we were in a church, but why would a statue like that be left in the basement?

That made absolutely no sense. And the people from town don't even know when that church was built.

I got permission from my grandfather, who is the head in the town, to check all the documents to see if I could find something about that church.

I'd love to say that I found a lot of stuff, but I didn't. There wasn't a single document that even mentioned the church. No one knew anything. So normally, I gave up and just focused on Michael.

Well I guess this is about it for now. I don't really have anything else to write about. Except that dad got violent again and beat me and my little brother up, but I guess he helped us in a way since grandpa took us to stay  with him until mom returns.
