Graduation Day

A new dawn, alongside it a whole new day, brought with it a certainly new life for a certain young girl. And with the early morning sun rays, marked the beginning of such a day.

Inside a typical girl's room, the sun beam leisurely illuminated the bedroom through the light white curtains that covered the bedroom window and revealed the inside of the area.

Several dolls, alongside some stuffed animals were scattered throughout the room. With few posters and bookshelves further decorating the light blue-green walls. And besides the typical closet and dresser, was the queen sized bed positioned adjacent to one side of the wall.

On the bed, a figure suddenly shifted for seconds until it slowly decided to emerge her head from underneath the sheets, taking some time to adjust to the sun light that baked the room with its warmness.

The figure, seemingly belonging to a preteen girl, removed the sheets to the side before she rose to find herself, sitting on the edge of the bed with her feet freely dangling just slightly above the floor. After doing so, the young girl yawned while rubbing her eyes, as way to get rid of the sleepiness.

It was then did the bedroom door received a series of smooth knocks, which later was followed with a soft voice calling from the other side "Emiko, breakfast is on the table."

"Alright mom, I'll be down in a minute." the girl answered before recalling what day it was. It was the day she would officially be considered as a real Kunoichi; a day in which she'll finally be a step forward in achieving her dream.

So smiling to herself, the girl got herself out of the bed and proceeded to get ready for the big day, and once she was done with her usual morning routine, the girl afterwards stood in front of the mirror, pleased with her attire and overall look appearance.

Emiko than beamed, before confidently stating to her own reflection

"I've got this, nothing can stand in my way." she stated while pushing strands of her hair behind her ears before initiating in exiting her room and heading downstairs.

"Well good morning, I see someone is finally awake." A mature woman greeted, once she saw her daughter enter the kitchen. She was scooping some scrambled eggs from the pan to the plates that were placed on the table.

"Good morning mom. Good morning dad". The girl happily greeted, before taking a seat in front of her dad.

"Well good morning to you too" the dark hair man cheerfully replied back, after taking a bite of his eggs "So today is the big day. Is my little Emi ready?"

Nodding the girl rapidly replied "No sweat dad, thanks to your training it will be a piece of cake."

The father's smile grew wider, due to how proud he was to hear his daughter's reply "That's what I like to hear, you show them today Emi."

The girl nodded firmly, not willing to let her dad down. He had always been there, helping and guiding her, whenever his wasn't outside the village. It was thanks to him, that she became the best Kunai and Shuriken thrower in her year.

"Consider it done, dad." Emiko replied

Joining them later at the table, Emiko's mom sat beside her daughter and wasted no chance to enter the conservation "So sweetie, is there anybody else from class, taking the exam?" she inquired.
