After Callan went back to his big walled off community I was tempted to grab a knife from the kitchen but considering how well today went I refused to do it today. Instead I went for another walk around the neighborhood which even though it's pretty much abandoned it helps me clear my thoughts a bit. Sometimes I go inside other houses along my walks to see how other people lived before all this chaos started. On one of my many walks through this town of mine I walked into the house of a very minimalist person because there house didn't have much in it. There living room only had one small table and and a small crate to go with it as a chair and there's was nothing in the kitchen but a sink filled with rotting fruit. And there bedroom wasn't much to look at either, all that was really in was another small crate as a chair and a few flattened cardboard boxes as a bed. I don't know who lived but there not the only person with a weird house I walked into but after a bit I decided to go back home because by the time I looked at the sky it was getting dark. I hadn't realized before how much time I spend looking into other houses but as weird as that sounds it helps to keep my mind off the way things are right now. After walking for a bit I finally got back home and as soon as I do I go into the kitchen and try to find something still edible to eat that hasn't rotted yet. Amazingly somehow I still had an apple that didn't mold or rot yet so I took a few bites out of it and put it back in the fridge and walk upstairs to my room and shut the door. Then I go over by the window and open to let in some cool air in and then got under the covers of my bed and drifted off to sleep.
I woke up feeling a bit better then I do most days so for once I think I will acutely go to school on time well at least for today. When I fully woke up I got out of bed and went downstairs to take a bite out of the only thing I had to eat and went out the door and started walking towards the school building. As I walked I noticed a few things that I hadn't before and the first of which is the huge wall that goes around the meta community. It seems like a odd thing not to notice till now but I mean the things huge, way bigger then need be. I mean if all there doing is keeping humans out then why build something so huge. It's not like any of us could climb it, it just sort of seems like an overreaction or its trying to hard to keep us out. The second thing I noticed was this ghost town I lived in and it's not like I haven't noticed that before. But now is the first time that I'm really noticing the incredible lack of people here and where I live is at least a moderately sized town. So I feel like there should be more people here then what's here already and noticing that has kind of an eerie vibe to me. And the third and last thing I noticed isn't really that important of an observation but as I look at the abandoned houses in this town I see that some look better then others. It's just sort of interesting to see that at least some of the people didn't have it too bad well at least before they died. And after about six minutes I reach the desolate and mostly deserted school building with some cars still in the parking lot that don't work. After a bit of wondering around the parking lot looking at and into the cars I entered the building through one of the already opened school door that have basically been rusted to stay open. The inside still takes me by surprise a bit because it's amazing how much the Building has come to ruin. Most of the visible beams look ready to fall and collapse and most of the walls have holes or have been destroyed. And the halls look decrepit and have small plants and flowers coming from holes and cracks in the ground and it may seem bad but it looks kind of cool. And by the time I stop noticing the scenery I stop in front of my first class which is history and there's no teacher in the room which is the usual because there's only about two to four teachers in the whole building. So once I get in the classroom and sit down at a table for a second I took one of the makers and tried to write on the board to entertain myself but it looks like the maker dried out. And as soon as I put it down I look towards the door of the classroom and notice that theres a hole in the wall leading to the courtyard. I couldn't help myself so I just ran through the hole and went outside to the courtyard which was now decorated with interesting and beautiful new plants. Which was all complimented by the early Suns light shining down on everything in just the right angle that I had to take a step back to fully look at it. Then as I did I noticed that one of the benches where still there and it's top was free from all plant coverage and I walked over to it and laid down on the bench and looked up at the nice blue sky. And looked for shapes in the clouds which was more entertaining then I thought it would be and in amongst those snaps I found what looked like a face and part of a cat. I then continued to look up at the sky and took in the surrounding air with a couple of deep breaths.
Suddenly I woke up and as I looked up at the sky I noticed that the sun had moved since I last saw it which felt like moments ago. The sun was now In a position that was past noon so I took a guess and assumed it was somewhere around one o'clock. I don't know when I feel asleep but for right now it didn't matter and as soon as I could get up and walk I went back over to the hole and went back inside and proceeded to walk to my science class. Which was upstairs so it made it hard to get to because most if not all the stairs where in ruins and unclimbable. So I had to make due with the stairs that took me the long way around but I didn't really mind, I liked seeing the odd but somewhat cool scenery. And after I turned the corner and walked for a couple seconds I went into my science classroom which actually had a teacher in it. I could tell he was surprised that anyone even showed up but I could tell he was at least somewhat happy someone did because at least now he had someone to talk to. He didn't really teach me anything about science he instead let me ask questions about things I was curious about and he answered all of my questions he could which made us both feel a bit better. After an hour or so of questions and other meaningful conversation he told I should go home and come back tomorrow and when I checked the position of the sun it was about the middle of two o'clock. Before I left I waved goodbye and made my way to the front door and once I got outside again I stopped for a second and smiled. Today went pretty good and when I see Callan it's going to make this the best day I have had in awhile. I continued to walk home but as soon as I took another step I found myself stuck, I couldn't even move. I quickly started to struggle but when I still couldn't moved I panicked then two guys dressed in some fancy outfits took my arms. And when they had my arms in a tight grip I could suddenly move again but it wouldn't help against these guys who both looked strong enough to keep me from escaping. But that doesn't mean I didn't try to kick, punch, or scream but all I got out of them was "quite you" or "calm down" and when I did calm I looked at them for a second and realized that they where from the meta community. A sudden state of fear and panic and sadness came over me and all I could do while they where forcing me to walk was cry and the the tears continued to stream down my face without even a little concern from those two. Which goes to show how cold metas they really where but no matter what I focused on or thought about nothing could stop my tears because I knew that I was headed somewhere I would never come out of. I couldn't handle the thought of being locked in some dungeon or prison cell being being tortured or even worse. And these two wastes of space didn't help because they only kept looking at me and seeing cry and kept making jokes about me or humans in general. But I stopped fighting back because I knew it was useless to try and then the two guys stopped walking and when I looked up with tears still in my eyes I saw we where in front of the main gate of the meta community. I panicked even more knowing that i was this much closer to a fate worse then death itself but the only I could do was cry even more and even harder as if I was trying to get my last cry for help heard by anyone that could help. I stopped and looked up once more as I saw the gate open and when it opened just big enough for us they forced me to walk inside and as we walked I noticed that the walls where incredibly thick. Which only made it worse and a few more tears and sobs managed to escape me but I'm not sure if I could stop crying but when I got inside. I could see a lot of people gathered and scattered around around the area in front of the gate. And I could hear it start to close and looked behind me to watch it close and as it did one last tear fell down my face because I knew that as it closed all hope was gone for me.
