There's a gang in school known as the dragon gang. Almost everyone knows about it, but no one really bothers with them. They all went by code names, Sparky, Salamander, Sky Maiden, Ironhead, Sting, Rogue, and Cobra. I didn't know any of their real names, except Laios. I saw him walking to class everyday, his beautiful black hair complimented by his Ruby eyes as he practically glared at everyone. His hyper counterpart, Sting, always hung around him and I could never find him alone.
---
I sat in class, but I couldn't focus. My thoughts were filled with Rogue. I stared at him shyly from the back of the class with a slight blush on my face, I didn't notice another set of eyes staring at me as well.
---
Class finally ended and I quickly exited the room. When I finally made it to the hallway, I saw Rogue standing against a wall by himself. I approached him slowly, checking for Sting around the corners.
"Hey Laios."
I greeted him with a small smile. He looked up at me and his face immediately relaxed.
"I told you not to call me that at school."
"Fine...Rogue."
I corrected myself and spoke his name in a mocking tone. I examined my surroundings once more to look for Sting, but he wasn't anywhere. I turned back to Rogue, who was staring at his phone and completely ignoring me.
"Where's your twin?"
"dunno. I haven't seen him all day."
"Really? Is he sick?"
"I don't know..."
He suddenly tucked his phone back in his pocket and rested his palm on my head.
"I got to go. They want to meet up somewhere."
I knew he meant the dragon gang as soon as he said they.
"O-ok. I'll see you later then."
I could feel the blood rush to my cheeks as I watched him walk away and casually wave goodbye. I was so distracted by Rogue that I forgot I was holding a book in my hand. I was reminded of it when it slipped from my fingers and fell to the floor. I bent down to pick it up, but I heard an evil snicker from someone behind me. I turned and became defensive.
"W-who's there?"
"Its just me, Sweetie."
A tall blonde boy stepped out from behind the corner. I recognized him immediately.
"Sting?"
"Hey Sweetie, you miss me? I overheard you talking about me with Rogue."
He confidently placed his arm against the wall above my head and leaned over me with a large smirk glued on his face.
"You really shouldn't be eavesdropping."
I scolded him and once again bent down to grab my book.
"I don't think you should be talking about people when they're not around, Sweetie."
Sting is the absolute worst. He's the complete opposite of Rogue in every way, and now I feel like he's hitting on me. I rolled my eyes while my back faced Sting.
"I wasn't talking about you."
"Yeah you were. You were real curious about where I was."
I suddenly heard a phone ring and looked down to see a phone attached to the side of Sting's pants.
"Shouldn't you get that?"
"Nah, it's probably Rogue. He talks about you a lot you know."
My face flushed and my cheeks burned.
"R-really?"
I saw his grin widen as he leaned even closer to me.
"Yeah, he talks about you so much that even I'm curious. What kind of girl are you?"
I was caught off guard by his comment and the look in his eyes. He wrapped his free arm around my waist and pulled me close to him.
"S-Sting?"
"Sting!"
I heard a familiar voice approach us and I suddenly panicked. I forced myself away from Sting and Rogue grabbed him by the collar of his uniform.
"What do you think you're doing to (y/n)?"
Rogue looked angry as he pressed Sting against the wall. Sting just sighed and looked at me with a smile on his face.
"We were getting to know each other. Right Sweetie?"
"Sweetie? Sting, don't you dare take advantage of her."
"Come on Rogue. I was just trying to show her how much I liked her. Is that such a crime?"
My face grew even redder when I heard his words.
"L-like?"
"Yeah, Sweetie. Why are you so protective of her anyway? When I asked you before, you said that she was just your friend."
Rogue released Sting and looked away from me. I couldn't see his face, but I could tell something was bothering him.
"I didn't think you actually liked her."
Rogue finally responded dejectedly. He sounded sad and worried, his words were barely audible as he spoke.
"Lai-....R-Rogue?"
I became concerned about him and tried to look at his face, but when I approached him, he turned and brought my face into his hands. He pulled me closer to him until our lips met. I was too shocked to move away and too stunned to kiss back. My wide eyes were my only response to his spontaneous kiss. He finally pulled away and released me from his arms.
"Sorry, (y/n)."
He apologized and walked away without an explanation. I almost forgot Sting was still there watching.
"Woah, looks like you're stuck in a love triangle, Sweetie."
"And I don't know how to get out."
I joked as Sting got closer to me.
"I still want an answer to my confession...and I'm sure Rogue does too."
I couldn't think. How could I choose, my mind ran in circles while my body grew weak and nearly collapsed. Sting caught me just before I fell to the floor and cradled me in his arms.
"Too shocked to answer?"
I only nodded in response.
"...you know, it's not fair that only Rogue got to kiss you. Mind if I?"
He didn't wait for my reply. Within seconds, his hand was in my cheek and his lips were sealed against mine. It was similar to Rogue's, but Sting wasn't as gentle. He was much more forceful. Sting released me from his grip and helped me stand.
"Will you be OK?"
He asked as he let me lean on him for support.
"I'll be fine, just...let me think for a little while."
He nodded to agree and swiftly left me alone with my own thoughts. Both Rogue and Sting confessed to me today, but who will I choose? I couldn't decide.
