*Rae's POV*

After we saved Sam from drowning we went on our way to Mordor. Gahd I couldn't tell you how exciting this was. Our journey began with taking turns in paddling the little wooden boat. This went on for a few hours before we decided to continue on foot. Mordor was close, we all knew it. The atmosphere around us began to change, the air became a lot thicker and warmer and the clouds above us darkened. Frodo and Sam were clearly scared of what was up ahead, though I wasn't. I knew what would come, so I was prepared. Though I wasn't one hundred percent sure that the plot line would stay exactly the same as we were now in it. Maybe it was possible that we were able to change things, to change the outcomes by our actions. So we had to be careful, you never know what could happen. Still I couldn't help it but be excited. I shot a glance at Lizzy and she looked equally excited.

We came to a halt when we arrived at the foot of a mountain.

"Uhhh, there is a way around it, right?" I asked while I looked up to the mountain in awe.

"No, we've got to climb it." Frodo stated.

"Great." Lizzy and I said in unison.

"At least we get our exercise." Lizzy said and I laughed in response.

A few hours later we had finally reached the top. I was completely dead on the inside, all my muscles were aching and I was thoroughly soaked from all the sweating. Though the astonishing view made up for everything other.

"Mordor! I hope the others find a safer road." Frodo spoke up.

"They will." I spoke up from behind them. Yet they completely ignored me and continued their conversation.

"Well they don't." Lizzy replied. I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Strider'll look after them." Sam tries to reassure Frodo.

But Frodo completely ignores this and rants on. Oh Frodo. "I don't suppose we'll ever see them again."

"We may yet, Mr. Frodo. We may." Sam is right... Like most of the times. Frodo just doesn't realise this. I might try and talk some sense into Frodo while I am still here.

Frodo turns to look at Sam with great affection. "Sam?" It's clear they are the bestest of friends. "I'm glad you're with me." After that Frodo turns to Lizzy and me. "Thank you for accompanying us. It means a lot to us."

"The outlook may look grim, the road we'll have to take may seem impossible. But through all of this we will say undeterred and we will stay by your sides, till the end of time." I said.

"How poetic." Lizzy grinned.

"Shut up." I laughed.

*Lizzy's POV*

We knew middleearth already, well at least we saw it on screen. We knew the storyline and what we had to do to destroy the ring of power.

After walking a few days, we settled down on our way over the Emyn Muil, a hill landscape somewhere in the nowhere.

The night arrived and we fell asleep. Frodo started to look increasingly bad, he suffered because of the ring. It was a heavy burden, as Rae and I already knew, obviously.

"Maybe we should ask him, if we could carry the ring..." I went, after I noticed that Rae wasn't entirely asleep yet.

"No fucking way! No one knows what'll happen. If this is no dream, and my hurting feet are veryfing it, we might get in big trouble! We can't change the story..." Rae replied whispering.

"Okay, okay...You're right. But what do you think could happen? Oh my god, maybe we will appear in the movie, or books?! I mean, that's pretty unrealistic, but what if?"

"That would be too awesome to live. But I am really wondering, how and why we got here exactly. What's up with that necklace? Can you show it to me again?" Rae sat up and looked at me.

I was wearing the necklace, since we arrived in middleearth. I touched my neck, expecting to feel the necklace, but suddenly I realised that it was gone.

"Rae" I said, panicking already.

"No, please tell me you didn't..." my best friend went.

"I'm so sorry, why is it always me?" I complained.

"Okay, let's keep calm and think. Maybe it is here somewhere, just keep your eyes open.", Rae suggested and we started to stand up slowly, we didn't want to wake Frodo and Sam.

"Do you think we will come back home without it?", Rae asked me. I didn't know what to answer, because I feared that we won't.

"I hope we do...maybe after they destroyed the ring, we will just be able to go, you know, as finishing a book, closing it, being in the normal world again." I told her.

"Yeah, maybe. Let's hope it." Rae whispered. While searching, we walked over to a rocky shore on a river, not far from our resting place.

"Look!" she said again and pointed at someone, crawling down the rocks, where Frodo and Sam were sleeping.

"I totally forgot about that weirdo" I shrugged and we headed to them, ready to fight for our hobbit friends.
