            “Oh my gosh, WHAT HAPPENED?!”

I awoke with a start. My headache was still there, but not quite as bad. After my eyes adjusted, I noticed my mom standing by the door, looking at all of us.

“She got hit in the head with a rock,” Drew answered.

“How long was I asleep?” I asked right before my mom tackled me. I tried not to use “How long was I out?” because my mom might think that I had passed out.

            “Ten minutes,” Wesley said.

“You need to stay home and rest,” My mom said, finally letting go of me.

“No,” I said. “Mom, I’m coming with you guys. We have to go now.”

“We can’t get her to stay, can we?” My mom asked the boys. They all shook their heads. “Alright, get in the car.”

I smiled gleefully and hopped into the car. Kiara and Edward were already inside. There were only seven seats in the minivan, including the driver’s seat. And there were seven of us, so my mom sat in the driver’s seat, obviously, Drew took shotgun, Edward sat behind my mom, Kiara sat behind Drew, and Keaton, Wesley, and I piled in the very back, with me in the middle and Keaton on my left and Wesley on my right.

The drive to the airport is about two and a half hours away. But like halfway I had to pee so we stopped at a restroom.

            “We’re here,” My mom said.

“Aw!” I cried. “I don’t want them to leave.”

“We have to leave,” Keaton said. “If we don’t, then we’ll never win the X Factor and our one chance of becoming famous rock stars will be disintegrated.”

“Well when you put it that way,” I mumbled.

“We’ll miss you,” Wesley said. “Remember to vote! And we’ll be thinking about you the whole time!” He hugged me with one arm and kissed my forehead.

“Okay,” I agreed. “But I liked it better when you guys were hopeless nobodies and I had you all to myself.”

            “Sorry,” Drew shrugged.

We all got out of my mom’s car and headed silently towards the airport building. I don’t know why we were all being so quiet, I had so much to say. Maybe we just wanted to savor the moment.

Their flight was supposed to leave in fifteen minutes, so we didn’t have much time to say goodbye. Keaton, Wesley, and Drew put their bags on the fun little conveyer belt. Keaton decided to talk first. “I’ll miss you,” He said softly. I couldn’t bring myself to speak. Even though I knew that they would only be gone for a little while, I was still sad. All I did was hug him.

Here come the waterworks. “I love you KeaStro,” I said. Keaton always smells like axe and it annoys me. It doesn’t annoy me because it smells bad. I actually love the smell! It just turns me on which is weird considering it’s Keaton.

“I’ll see you real soon,” Keaton said, letting go. “We’ll Skype a lot.”

Next, I hugged Wesley. He’s taller and muscleier than Keaton. “I love you, Wes,” I said.

“I love you too,” Wesley said. Then he let go.

Finally, I hugged Drew. He’s not much taller or muscleier than Wesley. “I love you Drew,” I said.

“I love you too,” Drew said.

“Well,” Wesley said. “It’s time for us to leave. We’ll miss you.” The guys headed towards their flight and I waved until they were out of sight.
