"So I hear you're the heartbreaker of One Direction," Matthew joked.

"I heard you played a loser for seven years," Harry snarled.

"Sorry, mate. It was a joke," Matthew apologized.

"I'm not your mate," Harry muttered.

No one spoke until we were inside the skate place.

"What size skates do you want?" Matthew asked us.

"Ten," Harry mumbled.

"Eight, please," I kissed Matthew lightly, and he went to go get our skates. Once he left, I scolded Harry. "How dare you be rude to him! He let you come on our date, and you have the nerve to be mean for no reason!"

"You're cute when you're mad," Harry smiled at me.

"I'm serious, Harry. I really like this guy!" I whined.

"I don't want you dating anyone," Harry stepped closer to me, and I stepped back.

"I love him, Harry," I snapped and he looked like I had slapped him.

"Okay, I'm sorry," Harry frowned.

Matthew came back with our skates, and we brought them over to a bench.

"Want me to lace you up?" Matthew got down on one knee.

"Sure," I agreed, and he tied my laces.

Instead of getting back up, he pulled something out of his coat pocket.

"I remember the first time I saw you at that photoshoot. You had on a short red dress, with black high heels that made you almost as tall as I was. As soon as I saw you, I knew I had to talk to you. I'm so glad I did, because now you're my best friend. I can tell you anything and everything. My dad always tells me that he married my mum because she is his best friend, so..." Matt paused and took a deep breath. "Tara Fanning Williams, will you marry me?"

"Christ," Harry muttered,

"It would be an honor and a privilege," I grabbed his chin and pulled him up to kiss me. He opened the ring box and showed me a 2-carat diamond ring. I smiled as he slid it on my finger, and everyone around us applauded.

"I can't believe this is happening," Harry grumbled.

I shot him a glare.

"I mean, I can't believe this is happening!" He tried to sound more upbeat.

"I love you, Tara," Matt pressed his nose against mine.

"I love you more, Matt," I responded.

"That's not possible," Matthew took my hand and gently rubbed my knuckles. Then, with Harry trailing behind us, we walked on to the ice. We skated around for a little bit, and then Harry went over by us.

"Mind if I steal her?" Harry asked.

"Go right ahead," Matt skated off.

When he was gone, Harry glared at me.

"That was the most humiliating experience of my life," Harry admitted.

"It was magical for me," I grinned.

"It's a heck of a ring," Harry held my hand.

"Really?" I gazed at the ring.

"No, I just wanted an excuse to hold your hand," Harry told me, and I wriggled out of his grip. I skated away.

"Tara, wait!" Harry went after me.

I skated over to Matthew and kissed him. I held the flaps of his jacket and pinned him up against the glass.
