I took a deep breath and stood up.
“Tara?” Niall prodded me. “Do you love him?”
“I’d be lying if I said I didn’t,” I answered, and then made my way to where Harry was in our room.
“Tara,” Harry stood up and wrapped his arms around me. “I’m so sorry, baby.”
“You were right,” I whispered.
“About what?” He smirked even though he knew what I was talking about.
“My dad’s an asshole. Always has been, always will be,” I sighed.
“It killed you to say that, didn’t it,” Louis laughed.
“Shut up, Lou,” Harry kept hugging me with one arm while he flipped Louis off with the other.
“Okay, I’m leaving,” Louis got off of our bed and left.
Harry tried to kiss me, but I stopped him with my hand.
“What?” He frowned at me.
“I want you to apologize-”
“I told you I’m sorry,” he cut me off.
“Let me finish,” I glared at him. “I want you to apologize to Liam.”
“I can only do it if you come with me,” Harry whined.
“Fine,” I followed him into the bathroom.
“Liam, I’m sorry for hitting you,” Harry patted him on the back.
“It’s okay,” Liam gave Harry a weak smile.
“No, it’s not. You’re my friend and I shouldn’t do that to you. I’m sorry,” Harry said as Liam stood up.
“It’s okay, Harry. It really is,” Liam hugged him.
“You look like a pirate,” I laughed at Liam’s eye patch.
“ARGGGH!” He started to chase me down the hallway.
“Stop!” I ran towards the couch, and he tackled me.
Liam and I collapsed into hysterics, and Harry smiled as he watched me giggle.
“It’s 19:10, let’s eat already!” Niall set a chicken on the table with stuffing and a salad.
“When did you have time to make that?” I gaped at the meal.
“I did it when we got home from the gym, before all of this,” Niall gestured to Liam’s eye.
“Wow,” Harry pulled me up, and we all sat down at the table. “Thanks, mate.”
“No problem,” Niall grinned.
“I love you all,” Harry clutched my hand.
“You boys are the best,” Zayn clapped Niall’s shoulder.
“I know I don’t know all of you that well yet, but I’m really glad that I’m here,” I announced.
“Well, let’s eat already!” Niall pounded his hands on the table. “I didn’t make all of this for nothing!”
We passed the food around the table, each taking our own portions. The entire meal was silent, and the only noises were the clattering of plates and silverware. At the end, I rose to clear the dishes, but Harry pulled me back down on to his lap.
“Let them do it,” he carried me into our room. It was only 21:32, but I was tired from Louis waking us up early.
“Okay,” I slid off my jeans and sweater. I was about to put on my pajamas, but Harry came over and wrapped his arms around me.
