A New Enemy

it was Caleb. the guy they'd kicked out of Achievement City a year ago. they'd thought he was gone forever. Yet here he was. Caleb grinned at them, and motioned for iron golems to restrain them. Geoff tried to slash at one of them, only to have an iron golem toss him in the air. he flew at least ten feet up, before landing on the ground with a thud and a grunt of pain. seeing their leader stopped so quickly froze them for a second, and they were all scooped up. Michael yelled, "get off me, you dicks, I'm gonna f***ing murder your asses!" everyone else was yelling pretty much the same thing. Caleb walked up to the golems, lined up in a row, and grinned. "You know, I'm really going to enjoy this." he said. and slammed his sword into the back of Geoff's head, hard. Geoff was knocked unconscious. he proceeded down the line, until the guys were knocked out. he turned to the leader of the creepers. "take them away," he snapped, any friendly pretense gone. he stormed off. and the guys were carried off, into the deep caves.

after I'd stopped shaking, Gavin asked me, "what happened?" I explained the dream the best I could. when I finished, Gavin just sat and stared at me. well, I snapped, say something! he shrugged. "I don't know what to say," he replied. suddenly, the sound of a piston engaging made me jump. I spun towards the sound, and suddenly a torch blazed, making me reel back. as my eyes adjusted, I realised that we weren't alone. a large group of iron golems were dumping a large group of people into the cell across from us. I counted maybe six figures. they looked like rag dolls, tossed around. then I looked closer, squinting to combat the blurs. then gavin gasped, and yelled out, "GUYS?!" 

it was the Achievement Hunters.

Ryan was the first to sit up, moaning and clutching at his head. I noticed he had a bruise the shape of a sword pommel behind his ear. then he looked up, noticing us. "hey, guys," he said quietly, giving us a small wave. I facepalmed. Gavin, however, ignored me and excitedly whispered, "are you guys all right? what happened? how'd you end up here?" Jack shot up, mumbling something incoherent, then looked over at us. "are you guys all right?" he asked us. I looked down at myself and thought to myself, we look like hell. my clothes were dirty, I had scrapes, cuts, and bruises all over my body, and my leg was still in a cast. Gavin looked the same way. I shrugged. we're all right, I said. Gavin translated, and Jack nodded. then Geoff and Ray sat up simutaneously. then Ray immediately bent over in pain. I stared at them. what happened to you guys? I asked, and Gavin repeated it. God, that was starting to get frustrating. Geoff glared at me. "Caleb happened." Caleb? the guy they kicked out? "what's Caleb doing here?" Gavin asked. Geoff shrugged. "hell if I know."
