(authors note: hello people, whoever reads this, this is my first story, its probably going to suck, but, bear with me ok? this is based on a story I read called "child of the bugs" by nepetaleijon7. I decided to base this story off of her idea. hope you enjoy!)

I awoke suddenly, shaking. another nightmare, I thought to myself, but the details were already fading. blurred images of faces, of buildings had gone through my minds eye. which made no sense, but as of right now, it didnt matter. I peered out the cave entrance and realized it was morning. I needed supplies, and unlike everyone else in my family, it wasn't safe for me to go outside at night. grabbing my bag, I hurried away.

I reached the first landmark after only a few minutes of walking: a tall tower made of yellow and black wool. I never understood why the people who had ended up here a long time ago had built these, but I didn't care. I needed white wool, not yellow. I finally tracked down a sheep, and sheared its wool. I hated hrting anything I didn't need to hurt, like sheep or other animals. humans, however, were dangerous. my parent had always taght me that. our kind were supposed to follow them and then stop them with one large explosion. after finding enough wool, and passing by a few other human made landmarks, I came to a small area that seemed untouched. a miniature forest with a river. I was hot and sweating, and I needed to relax. so I sat down and started to stare into the water. I knew I looked different from other Creepers, but I never acknowledged it until now, maybe becase I had never really looked at myself that clearly. I studied the reflection in the water, which had long brown/blonde colored hair, usually hidden by my hood, and gray-green eyes. my skin was a pale white, and I seemed to look like any other human in the overworld. but I wasn't human, I was a Creeper,

right?

suddenly angry with the reflection, I dashed my hand across it, but I only marred the water for a second before the image came back, clear as the sky. I now took in the images that showed me what I had been raised as. the faint pattern of green, yellow and black across my clothes. the green painted over my face, the hood that obscured my face anyway. all signifying who I was. suddenly I heard something and sat up from where I'd been laying. was it an animal or a hum- I heard it. a voice. I began to hiss as I advanced, reaching in my pocket for my flint and steel. suddenly, one of the strangest things I had ever seen in my whole lifeike appeared in front of me. it was a creeper, or so it seemed at first, but It moved like no creeper I had ever seen. I shook those thoughts away, and ran towards the figure. it looked up and noticed me, and my hissing grew to dangerous levels. I held up a long cord I had draped like a necklace around my neck, and held the flint and steel to the end of it. the other end off the cord connected to enough TNT that if I was close enough I could... stop whoever was in front of me. the figure stared at me in shock, than did the oddest thing. the person raced at me, with no sword in hand. he- I realized by now it was a man- grabbed at my pack and tossed it far away while simultaneously tackling me. I felt my hood slide down my shoulders as my head slammed into stone and I only saw the man staring at me in astonishment before I blacked out.
