chapter 6- fixing things with blake and hunter

Ashley pov

I screamed as I covered myself up. I see jay start to stir in his sleep and soon his eyes flutter open when he finally notice me he stares at me in shock

"what the hell did we do last night?" he asked

"i dont know but can we just please forget this ever happened?" I asked slipping on my bra and underwear

"yeah sure do you want me to drive you home?" he asked getting dressed

"um...sure" I say slipping my shirt on

The car ride is silent as he drives me home. He pulls up into my driveway I wave bye at him and walk into the house to see blake sitting on my couch

"there you are ive been worried sick?" he says walking up to hug me

"im fine I was with jay" I say releasing from the hug and walking to the kitchen

"I just want to apologize for last night I was an asshole and if you really want to be with hunter then ill back off" he says

I stare at him in shock since I never thought the bad boy would even say something like that

"well um thx blake" I say and sit down with a bowl of honey nut cheerios

"but I still need you to tutor me and if its alright with you I want to be friends" he says rubbing the back of his neck shyly

"sure blake as long as you don't try anything" I say throwing my dish into the sink

" I wont" he says

"okay well let me take a quick shower and then we can get started on the tutoring" I say running upstairs

I run upstairs and jump in the shower letting the hot water run down me I finish up and wrap my hair up and walk back into my bedroom I slip on blue high wasted shorts with a white crop top that says bae in blue lettering I blow dry and straighten my hair once im done I grab my phone and send a little text to hunter

Hey we need to talk can we meet up tonight

I walk back downstairs and see blake texting on his phone I sit next to him and he looks over and smiles

"ready?"

After the tutoring session with blake I waited for hunter to come over so we could talk as I was waiting last night comes back to my mind I just couldn't believe I slept with my best friend out of all people but it wasn't like it was bad with his soft lips on top of mine his hands grazing against my body his- I was cut off by hearing a knock at the door I walk up to the door to see hunter holding my favorite flowers and smiling

"hey" I say

"hey can I come in?'' he asked smiling

I nod and let him in he hands me the flowers and I take them and slip them into a vase

"where's your mom and morgan?" he asked curious

"my grandmother wanted to see morgan" I say sitting on the couch

"oh" he says joining me

"so we need to talk" I say

"yeah I know whats up" he says

"look our relationship hasn't been the same lately one minute were okay another minute were yelling at each other and were fighting I just want us to be okay and work this out because I love you" I say all in one breath

"I know and im sorry too ive been a real dick and im sorry I want to make this work too" he says

I smile and lean in to kiss him knowing my life is finally working in my favor or maybe not, as I kissed hunter I couldn't help but still think of jays lips on mine
