my room is cluttered, as is my head
you suggest cleaning it, instead i filter and hide,
the deny of the things i have to throw aside.
so much work and it's piling up,
just like my thoughts and eventually i've had enough.
so much clutter and unfinished business
of things and ideas going so fast i might miss it,
but it's a new day;
even as the sun fades i will consider my opinions and declutter now,
i will finish my ideas and feel as though i need to clutter all over again,
and then i'll come back and say:
my room is cluttered, as is my head.
